TLDR: very expensive, nice heated seats, decent concessions (good soda machine) Pricing: Compared to the old movie theatre (about $7/ticket), B&B is absurdly expensive. I hardly ever go to see movies now because it is so expensive. -2 stars solely because of the pricing. Concessions: There are a variety of concessions available. They have a full service bar and the traditional concessions, which is nice (for the adults). There are quite a few lines for concessions, so the wait is not that long. They savory meals, savory snacks, sweet snacks, and ice cream options. The meal options are relatively limited if you are a vegetarian, so I recommend eating before you go. The popcorn and other snacks are pretty standard. I do really like that they have the fancy touch screen pop machines, where you can select a variety of flavors of each soda (for example, orange cream soda). Theatres: It's pretty nice that B&B has a variety of different theatre options, but they all include the heating and reclining seats. I really enjoy the heated seats because I get cold. Some of the theaters are giant, like the extra large big screen theaters. Others, like the 4D experience theatre, is really small. While it's nice to have such a variety of options and the quality of the seats, I would rather have less options and and slightly less fancy seats (keep the heated part) for cheaper tickets. Service: The workers are pretty nice. They're usually high-school or part time young people, so I don't really expect 5 star customer service. Some of the employees get really into character for selling "the magic of the movies," while others are just working. Either way, I don't mind. They're never rude. Other: The bathrooms...

I have seen just about 10 movies here, taken my little brother to a kids birthday party, and bowled 3 times. I never had a bad experience per say.
The movie theatre is expensive, but in my eyes you get what you pay for. Nice huge reclining leather seats no matter where you sit is a plus. The popcorn and drinks are as expected of a movie theatre. This place has a grand ambiance about it. When you park they play music throughout the parking lot , you walk in and it’s a huge fancyish environment. 5/5 for movie experience.
The birthday party was average. They provide a room and some bonuses depending on what you pay for. 3/5 there.
The bowling experience is my main gripe here. This place is very family friendly, but not after 7pm. Expect big groups on either side of you throwing back pitchers of beer. I’m not saying this is wrong but just beware. The lanes are all even, and ply well. The public bowling balls are as expected. The food is, well, a problem. I attached an image of what they title “sausage pepperoni flatbread” with my hand for reference. This thing was the equivalent to one slice of little Cesar’s pizza. For $9.50. We also ordered Mozzarella sticks. You get 6 sticks for $10 bucks. Moral of the story is: don’t go past 7-8pm and don’t order the food.
I hope that if you live in the area you go check it out. Unlike any movie theatre I’ve been to. Follow those last steps of bowling and you’ll have...
Read moreMy family has come here frequently since it opened. Usually we have between 5-10 seats each time. I rented a theater out during Covid to support them along with bowling for our kids birthdays and movies with all friends for our birthdays. My wife is hearing impaired and uses the close caption device they offer during movies. This time she was requested to turn in her license before she could use the device which was a little embarrassing for. What was worse was asking 4 different employees for a manager and waiting 10 minutes before we could turn the device in and get her license back so we could leave after the movie. It’s tough enough being hearing impaired but much worse having to wait for a manager in front of the entire facility for 10 minutes to get your license back so you can go home. It was embarrassing and demoralizing for her. We try to help our community out and are big movie fans but will start going back to Altoona or elsewhere to watch the movies to avoid embarrassing moments like this. This is one dedicated and loyal customer signing off and going elsewhere to enjoy the magic...
