Hawkeye Park — Attraction in Ankeny

Excellent park and beautiful views! Love all of the options for my kids to play at, the tennis courts, trails and ponds are also breath taking. I do have some concerns about the feeding of ducks. Before becoming informed me and my kids also fed them as well, but with the growing number of them I feel this wonderful park as well as others need to put some controls on feeding them. Arguably the best public park in all of the Metro. Where I spent my childhood. Volleyball and tennis courts, a few baseball fields, a few playgrounds, a nice walking path, a fishing lake, a couple of shelters, an amphitheater, lots of shade, well maintained, and lots of benches.
