Sunrise Park — Attraction in Ankeny

The kids loved it!!! Especially the splash pad! :) It was a beautiful park that was fenced in in the back, so it was easy to let the kids run around too :) I do wish there was a water fountain though.. and some benches in the shade.. tried to relax in the shade and had ants on us.. beautiful park though! And there was a tree that you could easily climb!...

Company reserved this for bags tournament..... But not 72 hrs before our event..... Would not come down and unlock bathrooms.... Pretty said , Ankeny is big but really to busy to do this??? But not surprising...can't wait to get out of here.. FYI didn't even need the restrooms myself... Just the...

Name is misleading, you can't see the sunrise from this park. ;) It's one of many parks in Ankeny and one of the original parks. It has plenty of area for various activities and a shelter area that you can rent out in advance by contacting the city's Parks...
