We usually go to see Chad with Ankeny Fix it, but when he let us know he was out of town until later than we could wait, he immediately suggested we go see Dustin at Iowa iRepair! I'm so glad to see businesses that are "competitors" supporting each other! Dustin did a great job replacing a touch screen for an iphone X we had and we would gladly take our devices back to him. His predicted time to get the item finished was 30 minutes, but I received a text not 20 minutes after I had dropped it off saying he was finished and that we could come pick it up at our convenience. I have used him a few times and everything went great but the last time he repaired my daughter’s home button on her Ipad immediately we started having issues with it charging ( this was never an issue before). I reached out to him and was told to clean the port out with a toothpick it was probably dirty, after doing that and no improvement, I have tried to get in touch with him multiple times through text, phone and email to see if this is something that can be fixed or to see if maybe when he replaced the home button something maybe just came loose.
