Wow, just so packed. It appears to be a safer alternative for younger kids especially, but really have to keep a close watch on them or way to easy to lose track of them in a second.
Noisy of course, but certainly to be expected. Nothing that a big bottle of Excedrin Migraine won't help. There is a variety for the kids to do, but the lines are long and kids can be impatient.
A little costly, but we'll worth it if you can wear them out for the night, of course this means that you will be twice as tired as well.
There was absolutely no place to sit and watch/wait, as the few sparse seating arrangements were already occupied and once in there you don't leave so quickly, so not a big turn over rate for seating which leaves most standing room only.
I really do like the idea that you can set a time for your group to come in and even if you are late/early (for whatever reason), you are still allowed access. A. This is not necessarily specific to party reservations, just an added option. B. There are snacks available to buy as well (no outside food or drink of course).
I also really like the different options allotted for play. Of course the more you want to do, the more expensive.
I did notice that it was fairly clean for being full of children and parents trying to keep up and I didn't notice any of the kids being rude or disturbing others, which was unexpectedly pleasant and really amazing to see.
Overall, worth the time and money, and certainly a good time for the kids. I would recommend for an afternoon out with the little monkeys, especially if you like your furniture.
I really liked the safety features, the cleanliness and the atmosphere of the place. I am very willing to return over and over, even if it means migraines are in my future just to make my babies happy.
Oh, also they have play for the smaller...
Read moreParents BEWARE!!! My child’s glasses were knocked off in the foam pit. We searched for them for 10 minutes (how they sank so fast I will never understand!) Finally the employee “supervising” the area noticed and approached. You might think to offer assistance in removing the glass hazard from the children’s play area??? NO! To scold us for searching the foam pit for a lost object which was prohibited by “THE RULES”. At our request a manager was then summoned to confirm the decision to leave (likely broken by now) glasses in the foam pit thus creating a danger to any unsuspecting child who jumped in potentially cutting themselves on the broken glass. I received a shrug in response, and was told WE could come back after the establishment closed and look for the glasses IF WE WANTED TO. I once again stressed to the teenage crew our concern was not for the easily replaced glasses but for leaving something in the pit that could cause harm to another child. They shrugged again and restated the rules that we couldn’t be searching the foam during operation hours (despite the fact we were the only ones using it). They also stated they did not intend to close the attraction due to the presence of glass. It was clear to me those glasses along with who knows how many other lost hazardous objects aren’t going anywhere. We won’t be putting our kids in that environment ever again to find out what else is buried in the pit besides broken glass. Be careful out there fellow parents. Common sense cannot...
Read moreI hate to do this but I have to give Urban Air 1 star.
I came with 4 kids under 41” tall.
Getting in the door was just shy of $60.00, but that’s not the reason for the 1 Star.
If your child is under 41” tall, there is virtually nothing for your child to do.
They can jump on the trampolines, but there is no Toddler Area like there is at Get Air in Urbandale, so your 3-4 year old is playing in the same area as everyone else in the building, essentially being knocked and bounced all over the place.
I saw at least 6 kids 41” and under crying from being pounced on by bigger kids.
If your kids are under 41”, ABSOLUTELY do not bring them here.
This place has tons of cool things to do, has a black light ball pit/obstacle course, zip line, climbing wall, and much much more!
...but there is nothing to do for kids 41” and under.
My children spent the whole time trying to do things they were too small to do, pouting because they couldn’t do them, and I’d say the staff are less than friendly to little kids.
When I purchased my passes, if they had told me there was no toddler area, I would have went to Get Air in Urbandale.
If your kids are under 41”, ABSOLUTELY do not bring them here.
If your kids are older, they will LOVE this place and you will want to give it 6 stars.
The food is excellent and it definitely deserves 5 Stars. We ordered a cheese pizza and dipping dots. The kids devoured it!
Hopefully this place is still around in a few years when my children...
