The wife and I stopped here for dinner last night. It had been awhile since either of us ate at a Perkins (at least several years) but upon not being able to make up our minds on where to eat we decided to try the new place in town.
Walking into the place it looked very nice, it was busy, but somehow they were managing to keep the tables and floors clean. We were seated quickly though there were only two of us and I suspect there would've been more of wait if that wasn't the case.
Our waitress was quick with the menus and was very nice, when it came to any questions we had. The menu was a pretty decent size they had a good variety of items to choose from and options to mix and match.
Ultimately, I decided on the grilled salmon (with the apricot and teriyaki glaze) with mash potatoes and there gourmet mac and cheese. The entree came with a roll as well. My wife then ordered a Greek salad and a side of mash potatoes.
The wait for the meal wasn't too long, and during the wait they explained there bakery box and then this eclub promotion in which you get a free meal during the month of your birthday and also receive updates from Perkins about special deals etc. We turned both down as we weren't interested.
After that our food came within like 10 minutes or so. The wife's salad was just a pretty generic iceberg lettuce blend with a few additions of which I can't remember. We could also tell the mash potatoes were instant potatoes and the gourmet Mac and cheese I got wasn't gourmet at all. I almost mistook it for another pile of mash potatoes on my plate. I could taste a little cheese and there were noodles in it, but they must've been running low and that Mac n cheese and just mixed in mashed potatoes with it, because that's what it tasted like. The salmon was good, however they forgot the apricot teriyaki glaze they said comes with it. Finally the roll looked like rolls you'd get served in a high school cafeteria.
For the price you pay here, I'd expect better food, which is why I'm only...
Read moreOur sever was a veteran of the industry, extremely efficient with drink refills and food delivery. Only thing I didnt like was that the eggs could've been cooked a bit longer than they were, its arbitrary honestly though. Each person has a different expectation when it comes to eggs, over easy to some is still runny egg whites, to others it's just runny yolks. I prefer just runny yolks over runny egg whites. This time I got the latter of the desired quality. I should've asked for crispy hashbrowns as well because they were just softed up from the freezer bag. Very light coloration of the searing on the flat top. But it was still a wonderful breakfast that I was able to spend with my dad. The food wasnt really the moat important part of our breakfast, but seeing my dad having a good time talking meant the world to me. I'm very pleased with the service I've had from this location, every time we get a chance we visit this location...

We visited Saturday Evening. We were orphaned by our waitress when an 11 top came in. The guy who brought out our food only brought out two of the 3 servings. 5 Minutes later when the original server returned she asked how things were and it had to be pointed out that my wife still did not have her food. When it was delivered, the Pot Roast Stroganoff was cold and dried out. After my wife was done eating she wanted pie and I went up to ask the service manager if she could have some pie. He took the order but the pie never came. Five minutes later a different waitress came by and got my wife her pie. (The service Manager was to busy taking care of phone orders to worry about customers inside the building.) After she had finished the pie I went back to the service manager to ask where my bill was and he finally gave me the bill. The food was good but do not expect good service until...
