Ordered dinner online on Xmas day. Food was good, order was correct. The only issue was the longer than expected wait - website said 20 minutes, actual was 45.
However, the reason I mention the wait is not because I'm upset. They were busy, it was a holiday most restaurants are closed, etc. No reason to be upset.
The reason I mention the wait is in hopes that the business owner will learn about the thousands of dollars in lost revenue the wait caused. I counted more than 20 unanswered phone calls in the 25 minutes or so I waited in the lobby. Assuming that most of those were people calling to make an order or verify the restaurant was open, that's maybe $1000? in lost revenue. If you assume that staff ignored calls for a couple of hours, that's several thousand in lost revenue.
I also noticed one walk in that saw the wait and turned wrong and left.
The reasons for the wait, other than being busy:
not many places to put food waiting for pickup slow credit card machine bad system for organizing pick up orders no obvious signage for customers waiting to pick up, so customers looking for a table know there's no dining room wait
If the restaurant removed the display case in the dining room with a big bookcase with room for to go orders, there's also room to place signage and facilitate easier pick up.
Finally, by investing in a better credit card machine, the desk staff can...
Read moreI’m not sure what this restaurant is like on a typical night but my friends and I went for their Christmas buffet and it was atrocious. They took forever to seat us, despite there only being four or five families in the restaurant. They took forever to come with water, again, despite it not being very busy. We opted for the buffet instead of ordering off the menu and each of us took one bite of three different dishes before we decided it would be a health hazard to keep eating. The food looked and tasted like it had been sitting there all day. The fried tofu tasted like what I imagine mold tastes like. There were plenty of families around with similar complaints and one of the patrons even approached me and my friends as we went through the buffet and warned us that the food was awful. We spoke to the waiter and informed him that not only was the food on our plates terrible but half the trays in the buffet were empty. We asked to leave without paying since none of us took more than a bite of food and we were told we were free to leave and waved out the door with a sarcastic “Merry Christmas.” I won’t...
Read moreWow!!! I’m a super critic when it comes to Asian dining. I don’t just consider only the food but the ambiance, the service, and how comfortable you feel. I was impressed to say the least. When you walk in, you feel like you’re in a new and different environment. The decor is fantastic and seems authentic. The food is DELICIOUS!! There are so many choices so you will definitely find something you want. I ordered the dinner for 2 with the Happy Family and Mongolian Beef. The shrimp and scallops were high quality and cooked to PERFECTION. It comes with everything you want including a house plum/pineapple wine. They also have a large variety of drinks and cocktails that are creative. The music is quiet and relaxing and just right to make the perfect Chinese meal experience. The staff were extremely attentive!!!! They seemed very genuine and friendly. Also, there’s a fun surprise at the end of your meal that you will love. Best chinese meal experience I’ve had in a...
