Taco Bell — Restaurant in Ankeny

I'm a Dasher and this past week on 7/9/2024 when I went to go pick an order, there was an unnecessarily rude and angry customer who was an older, bigger man who looked like a trucker or whatever, started yelling at full volume to the employees about his order.

This older, obese man who decided to clog up his arteries at Taco Bell that day, probably had a bad case of hemorrhoids from sitting in his cement truck all day and decided to burn off some very necessary calories by choosing to be a jerk and yelling at the young lady, working both the front register and the drive thru.

This young lady did an amazing job by killing him with kindness. She promptly had the mistake fixed, apologize and handed him his food.

Of course all of this is lost on Mr. Inflamed Hemorrhoid because he started mouthing off about the "dirty kiosk" and to my knowledge the kiosk are barely used and never seem dirty to me (The TB on Ankeny Blvd is a different story though LOL) and how "nobody wants to work".

Sir do you mean nobody wants to work like you? You've overworked yourself for the past 40 years and your pissed about it because you still have to work at your old age and your body is giving up at a much faster rate due to the job you have. Next time don't yell or get angry at the person serving you your cancer causing food. Next time take your shirt off and take a look in the mirror and ask yourself; "Do I really need...

Very disappointed with my trip to Taco Bell. they have installed the new kiosk for ordering,which I am absolutely not a fan of. all of the workers inside were refusing to take orders and directing everyone to use the kiosks but that was the least of my problems with my recent visit. so I begrudgingly used the kiosk to put my order in. I did not get my food for 25 minutes. once I got my food I let the gal know that I did not get my drink. then she just looked at me and I said ma'am I didn't get my drink. She begrudgingly hands me a cup. while I'm getting my drink I noticed that an item was missing off of our tray so I went back up to the counter and let her know. Again she just gave me a look as if I was trying to get something for free and again begrudgingly gave me the item. while I was eating my food I noticed a gentleman ordered his food and he sat in the restaurant for 30 minutes waiting for his food. When he approached the counter to ask them what was going on or what was taking so long the manager told him that we're very shorthanded we got really backed up in drive-thru we will get your food too you when we can get it to you. I was kind of baffled by that response apparently this woman knows nothing about customer service and to top it all off I got sick to my stomach shortly after leaving Taco Bell needless to say I won't be going back...

This is probably the worse supreme tacos (and fast food) my husband and I ever had in all the countries we've been and during our entire life. And this was in Ankeny wow! :s . The night we ordered the tacos they didn't have lettuce but they agreed to add extra meat. When we arrived home with the tacos they looked really gross and smelled. The supremes only had about half spoon of meat and bearly any cheese (see the pic of the half spoon meat that should be a supreme but has nothing else ). It smelled bad and looked bad as well. I didn't eat it 🤢. My husband went to complain, the manager of the place was very helpful and tried to be fair to us but the owner of this Taco Bell told my husband to drive 1 hour away to meet her on Wednesday at 3pm to see if he could get these tacos again. I honestly thought I should have gotten my money back for this almost empty shell with some brown slimy smelly whatever thing was in there. We spent almost $24 for this garbage. My husband didn't get any money back which was what I wanted since I would never eat here, all he could get was to have those tacos redone 🤢 and make the one hour trip for that.
