I have been to many "art parties" before and this place is heads about the rest. They were so accommodating, super helpful in the planning process and a joy to work with. I was struggling to find something unique for my daughter's 9th birthday and they delivered! The girls got to paint ceramic "cookie mugs", jam out to music and giggle their little butts off. The space is incredible, there is plenty of room and you can bring whatever you need. There is an elevator to help move your stuff and the staff even helped carry everything to and from the car. I was nervous having a gaggle of kids in this (incredible awesome working art studio) space but the teachers were so great and some of the local artists peeked in to see what we were working on. You can feel the community vibes here. Now I want to go back with the adults and do some grown up art! Make sure you prepare to park behind the studio or find a space on the street. It goes without saying since its downtown Ann Arbor but the location enabled some of the parents to grab delicious local food after so it was worth it.
