This is a great store for a retail experience. There are so many cute and fun Ann Arbor things around and it's a great place to get gifts from.

Please do not get your wedding invitations from this store. I am recently engaged and have been trying to reach out to Lisa (store owner) about wedding invitations for 3 months. I have heard absolutely nothing from her in response. I have called the store many times, and the store associates (who are very, very nice) profusely apologize and let me know that they are going to pass my message on to Lisa and I should hear from her in the next week or so. A week comes and goes, I hear absolutely nothing, and the cycle repeats.

Lisa has been telling the store associates that she has tried to email me. When I ask the associates to forward me the email that Lisa says she sent, they say that they can't do that. I am not sure why, all they have to do is ask Lisa to send them the email that she sent me, and then send it to me. I do not believe the Lisa has actually ever tried to email me and is gaslighting me into thinking that I am doing something wrong.

The most recent store associate I spoke with actually encouraged me to write this negative review because she let me know that she and the other store associates are equally frustrated by Lisa's failure to follow up with clients who are looking for wedding invitations. First time i went in, it was lovely. I heard nothing but great things about it. I called today to ask what time they open, and she said 10am. I then politely responded and said i tried opening the door and it said closed. She then said, well the hours are on the door. I then politely responded with saying i thought the door has said 10, so i was wondering maybe if they were closed for lunch, since it was 1150. She then says, wait, is it friday, it opens at 12. I said, politely again, oh i’m sorry, thank you. She ends the call with “wow”. She was extremely rude the entire phone call.

I then waited til 12:06, and finally the worker comes and unlocks the door, with a very rude attitude. Didn’t welcome us or anything. I followed her to the counter and asked who i had spoken with 15 minutes ago and she said it was the owner. I asked if there was anyone i could make a complaint to; she said no, since it was the owner. She answered my very impatiently and rude the entire time i was speaking to her. I ended by letting her know i would def be leaving negative reviews since her owner and her attitudes were extremely disrespectful and make me not want to ever shop there again. Very very rude. The only thing wrong with this store is Lisa.

When in the store it was a wonderful experience, full of great gifts and stationary. The owner was not available but the employees were beyond helpful.

Unfortunately when I interacted with Lisa, the owner, my opinion completely changed.

Originally I was told if I was unhappy with my proof I would be able to cancel my order. I was unhappy and proceeded to cancel but that is when I reached a snag, Lisa did not adhere to what I was told. She said she had ordered my stationary even though it was not what I wanted.

I'm easy going, I loved my experience in the store but when backed into a corner like Lisa did to me I was very taken aback. Why would you force a customer to purchase something they didn't green light? That was a mistake on her behalf.
