Very nice park- like all ann arbor parks. They have a play ground here, space (grass field) for frisbee with friends or a pick up game with friends/family (soccer, football, baseball, ultimate frisbee, or just tossing a ball or frisbee). They also have 1 portable bathroom. It's an extra wide one, not necessarily handicap (sorry I don't remember the appropriate term- there's a better term than disabled ppl) accessible because there was still a need to lift your feet up a few inche (s) off the ground to get inside... But that said, most people with a wheel chair should be able to get inside, if skilled or if someone would help out. Hope this helps, and please let others know how your experience...
Read moreThis is a nice little park with high quality equipment. I like that they've got a good blend of modern equipment without getting rid of everything that is deemed not perfectly safe. For example there is a merry-go-round, and some metal climbing bars.
There's a huge open field, baseball field, and plenty of sidewalks
The only thing is that this place gets very busy when there's a U of M football game on - lots of people tailgate...
