I havenāt been to a dispensary in quite a while..and nothing local. I had one of the first med cards in Michigan and used to test strains and give feed back to the state, so much that I was over the whole thing. I had been to every dispensary in south east lower Michigan and a few in the Flint area. It was like, you saw one, you saw them all. I havenāt been to any since it was legalized in our State.( except to one of my clients who is a distributor, theyāre in Grand Blanc and amazing and their review is below), On a whim, we stopped into Jars. We were stuck in traffic, my honey had read some really good things about them being the top choice, so I decided to pull in today and just take a peek. The parking lot was clean, the building is very nice, and has adequate parking. As soon as we walked in we were cheerfully greeted by Security, he let us know we had to sign in and up if we wanted to go beyond the door where the product is. We went to the counter, and again, greeted cheerfully at Reception. They made sure we had legal and current ID, got us registered and let us know we would each be assigned a Budtender who would explain the products/pricing, and offered choice of free gift for coming in. We were met by a very friendly gentleman named Max. He was extremely knowledgeable and patient with my endless questions. He showed us around all of the areas that were fully stocked, beautifully and safely packaged, and similarly grouped..He let us know which products were made in Michigan, vegan, gluten free and least amount of any chemicals, even showed us a sale table for product rotation, that were still very far from expiration. Oh and all the products have stickers on the packaging stating the ingredients and the lab results! Yes, lab results! They have products I had no idea existed, and even my teenage self could had never imagined. They had wonderful music on the overhead, and every customer was being helped. I saw not one person wandering aimless(like I would had been without Max) it was very clean and organized, beautifully decorated like a Pinterest home for weed.We were also assisted by Ashley, who was able to pick out products better suited for pain management rather than just THC alone. She was friendly, knowledgeable and made great suggestions. Iām not sure, but fairly confident we were being helped by two Budtenders that have received their Masters from Weed College. We couldnāt believe the pricing! Cigarettes cost more! Regular candy cost more! I am so excited to try the gummies that Ashley suggested for pain. I suffer from some chronic and painful autoimmune diseases and are actually more interested in the CBD aspect, with smaller amounts of THC, which I didnāt realize was even an option there. I apologize for the long post, but I know that some people our age and older might feel intimidated trying to go to one.Max and Ashley made it such a wonderful experience, I have already told 7 people about them, and how easy and actually fun it was. We were so blown away at how wonderful the entire store is, we will definitely be back soon! You should go to! Ask for Max or Ashley!...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy experience today with Mr. Derek was phenomenal. Kindness is free, love is eternal, and Yahweh is always watching our hearts. Well done. In this world, it is not often we as men come across others who are willing to listen and understand our needs and human beings. Today, was one of those day, for me as a retired combat veteran, lets just say I could smell that place again⦠Ill leave it at that. Upon entering the facility: I was greeted promptly with a warm smile and sincere attitude when I asked how he was doing. Seconds later, Mr. Derek was there saying hello and asking about my needs for the day. My spirts lifted instantly, and our conversation was a dopamine rush for the month. We conversed about my needs for cannabis, spoke honestly about what our passions were in life. As we continued out journey to the other counter to cash out, I understand as an academic, I tend to talk to much, but as life unfolds before our very eyes like origami in this divine matrix, our connection was true down to the very depth of out souls. Powerful words no⦠experience, perception of this reality, and that quantum entanglement exists, shows that through this exchange, we are all interconnected on a level thatās beyond our comprehension.

Ā Ā Ā Read moreWhile this is a nice stop when it comes to prices, I have been very disappointed in the treatment that I have received lately. This location has been a frequent stop for me for over a year, and I have loved it, but recently the staff has been a bit rude. Since I started coming to this dispo, I have had my name changed in the system as I do not use the name on my ID. This has never been an issue, and I have always been called by the correct name, until the past few times I have been in. I have been dead named multiple times by staff now, and when I correct them I am not always met with kindness. Staff has given me dirty looks, and not let me smell product with the rest of my group simply because I have asked to be called by the correct name. I was worried that I was the issue, as I am typically much too nice about things, and maybe I was not being clear about the fact that the name on my ID should not be used. So when this happened for a third time in a row, I mentioned that I loved the dispo but needed help figuring out how to get staff to address me correctly again. I was met with a tense smile, and no help. So this is my reminder to this dispo that it is 2024, and people change their names for many reasons. I do not understand how I went a year without any issues, and suddenly I am being disrespected every time I come in. I am about to give up on going here completely because I shouldnāt have to fight for respect as a costumer, but to anybody who may be LGBTQ+, or to those who changed their name for another reason, it may be the best move to avoid this dispo. I hope they can make this a safer place for costumers soon, rather than allowing the staff to be...
