as much as i wanted to love this place unfortunately the service was so bad. while we were ordering the lady at the register was rushing us to get us out of line as there were some people behind us. we finally ordered our food consisting of 4 sandwiches and two salads. mine and 2 other sandwiches came out and the “du nord” that came out was incredibly burnt. even from across the table i could smell how burnt it was. also our 4th sandwich didn’t come out with everything else. when the lady who delivered our food came back to confirm the 4th sandwich my friend said her sandwich was burnt. the lady then said it was in fact not burnt and just “marbled rye”. the bread was literally black and smelled like charcoal. the lady took it back and then just said “forget everything” basically saying she wasnt bringing the other sandwich either. my friend who got the burnt sandwich went up to the counter and just asked for a refund for the burnt sandwich and came and sat back down and when she looked at the receipt they also gave us the wrong receipt. we waited another 10 minutes for the other sandwich and decided we were just going to ask for a refund and leave since we hadn’t eaten anything and the workers seemed very hostile towards us. when we went up to the register to ask for a refund on the sandwiches (not the salads because we ate those because we waited so long for the sandwiches). the lady who said “forget everything” then started smirking and giggling at us saying the bread was just “swirled rye” so it should look that dark. they then kept saying they were never rude and when we left they yelled “have a nice day” in a super rude tone. we will not...
Read moreThis is the DON'T miss restraunt in Anoka. This are far more than just regular sandwiches, soups, and pasta place. They are BY FAR the best sandwiches I have ever had ever. They are mouthwatering the kind of food you have dreams about. The staff here in amazing! I'm allergic to Rosmary is in a lot of their sandwiches. They have accommodated for that which I'm SUPER thankful for. Their sandwiches don't need to be changed. Any of them. They are all perfect. But the fact that they have gone out of their way to make sure I can still enjoy them is so so kind. We eat here atleast once a month it's easily our favorite place for our entire family to eat at in all of MN. The staff is all incredible. You can't leave here without trying the Pickle pasta. No matter what sandwich you get you will be begging for more. If I could give this place 10 stars I would....
