Van Vreede’s and Howie Voight Appliance Services are incompetent. New kitchen appliances from Van Vreede’s were delivered in August. Dishwasher would not run without throwing error codes and refrigerator was completely missing one of the drawer slides.
Van Vreede’s sent the repair work to Howie Voight’s Appliance Repair. Howie Voight couldn’t schedule a technician until September. Technician is there for 15 minutes, agrees to order drawer slide and says dish washer needs new control board.
Howie Voight can’t get parts for three months. Finally show up to repair items in December. Technician comes on site and finds that they didn’t order all the correct parts for drawer slide and have wrong control board for dishwasher.
We wait another month… yesterday January 25, the technician again comes to our house. Once again, they have the wrong parts for the drawer slide… They were able to replace the control board, and left. Last night we finally get to use our dishwasher, which has never worked since being delivered 6 months ago, and we got the same error code we had in August!!!
Today, January 26, I called Howie Voight in the morning to talk to a manager. They take my information and promise that a manger will call me back today. By 3:30, I call back again and am told that all the managers are “in meetings” but they will call be back today.
Well, it’s now 6:00 and I haven’t received a call.
Apparently Van Vreede’s and Howie Voight doesn’t care enough about customer service to even call customers back, and incompetent that they can’t order the right parts or properly troubleshoot issues. At this point, all they’ve done is take my money and give me a nice looking...
Read moreA big thank you to Van Vreede’s for making this years Christmas and our move a big bust. We ordered 4 large appliances early November scheduled to be delivered the week of closing on our new house last week right before Christmas. With the bad weather, we were expecting a phone call saying they were going to postpone our delivery. Never received a phone call, so I left work early to let them in during the scheduled time. 3 hours after the scheduled time to deliver, we called to confirm they were still coming and we’re told they were going to be to us in 20 minutes. 10 minutes later they called us saying we weren’t getting our delivery due to the truck breaking down and that they would call us the following week to reschedule our delivery… meanwhile we could watch the truck on email tracking going from Reedsville back to Appleton to Van Vreede’s. Whether this was the truth or not, It still would have been nice to be a priority in receiving our large order of appliances ASAP. I work in retail/sales, I know that when it comes to customer’s orders and them not receiving their order, we try to do our best in making them a priority and doing what we can to help them. We did not feel this way from Van Vreede’s. We ended up picking up our appliances ourselves since we probably would not get our delivery for another week because we were told we had to reschedule. When talking with the warehouse manager, they could not provide an exact day, just a possibility of a day that they could deliver, when we should have been at the top of their priority. Extremely disappointed with their service and would not recommend to...
Read moreTerrible experience all together. When we ordered our furniture a month before our delivery date everything was in stock. We get a call the day before scheduled date to confirm delivery. I had to call back to verify what was getting delivered as we were never told our under counter fridge had shown up. I was told everything but the sofa was getting delivered and If I was lucky I would see it by the end of the year. The wait time is understandable if we weren't told that everything was in stock when purchased. Delivery happened and they never loaded the refrigerator on the truck. Contacted VV and was told they had no way to get it to me and would have to be scheduled. Then get a call that some one is going to personally deliver it. Awesome! We got some customer service. The furniture was not put together properly and the flap on the back of all the units did not reach the velcro. Had to have service come out to see what the problem was. We were told that the frame is broken and we would need replacement. Service calls the next day asking for pictures of the broken frame. Service tech should have taken pictures. So now i have had enough of this. Went in and talked to Tim the manager of furniture and he blew up and said he doesnt care and just refund all his money and schedule a pick up. Never once did the salesmen or the manager try to make it right. Soonest they can pick it up is a month. Everything has been blamed on COVID. COVID HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH CUSTOMER SERVICE! This is not the same Van Vreedes of the past!
**Update: After working with Rob. These issues were taken care of and heading in the...
