Anthem Veterans Memorial — Attraction in Arizona

A memorial for U.S. Veterans in Anthem, Arizona, constructed 11 years ago, is designed to shine especially bright on Veterans Day, November 11 at 11:11 AM, when the sun hits the memorial at a specific angle the light passes through the five pillars representing the five branches of the Armed Services (Army, Marines, Navy, Air Force and Coast Guard) to then shine on the Great Seal of the United States.

It's a small memorial next to the parking lot close by Anthem Skatepark. There's 4 vertical slabs, and in front there's an interpretive sign to read more.
