TLDR; Dumplings were amazing, easy takeout and pretty good food for the location and price. I’m pregnant and was craving some Chinese food, but didn’t want to drive into Phoenix. My husband ordered via phone the orange chicken, general chicken (both medium spicy) and the steamed dumplings. The girl who took our order was very kind and concise - answering the questions we had about the menu that we couldn’t figure out online. 15 minutes later he stopped in, grabbed our food with no issue. The steamed dumplings and the sauce that came with were delicious. My orange chicken hit the spot. The rice was overcooked, a little hard, and had absolutely zero flavor. My husband enjoyed the General chicken. The spice level was very mild despite the “medium” we ordered. This was not the best Chinese food I’ve had - or that Phoenix has to offer - but it was quick, convenient and the price wasn’t exorbitante for the food we received. If I’m craving Chinese food NOW, and we’re in a pinch, I will definitely order again.

I don't like leaving bad reviews for small businesses but this is one of the worst Chinese restaurants I've ever eaten at. We try again every few years hoping it improves because we live nearby but this time will be the last. We spent $88 on 2 appetizers, 2 mains and an order of lo mein. I don't mind the cost if the food is great but this is absolutely absurd. ALL of the food was COLD. I mean congealed cold. THERE WAS A RUBBER BAND IN MY HUSBAND'S NOODLES. What if that had been served to a child!? The crab puffs didn't even have crab in all of them, some were just cold, stiff cream cheese. The spring rolls are mush.

We tried this place for dinner with some friends. We were greeted by some wonderful host and hostesses. We were seated and our server came by to get our drink order and then returned with our drinks and got our food order. I ordered the Shanghai Chicken and my partner ordered the Macadamia Nut Chicken. Both were very delicious. It is your basic New York style Chinese Food. Our server was very friendly and helpful. The restaurant was clean as were the restrooms.

A couple of good friends took me here when I came to town. The food here was exquisite; flavorful, perfectly cooked, and presented beautifully. The wait staff was friendly and attentive; Clearing the empty plates and refilling drinks when needed, without being obtrusive or hovering as it is with other places.

We started off with the Chicken Spring Rolls. They were perfectly crunchy on the outside, which contrasted beautifully with the tender and delicious ingredients within.

We decided to order the roast pork fried rice, along with the cashew chicken, as well as the general chicken dish. Sharing each of them between the three of us, there was plenty of food to satisfy our appetites and appease our cravings, yet enough remained to box up to be devoured at a later time.

With regards to the drinks, I had the Arnold Palmer, which was perfectly balanced and refreshing. My friends paired the dinner with a red wine which they immensely enjoyed.

Overall, I was very impressed by the experience, and completely satisfied with the meal. It was my first time there, but surely won't be the last.

Come for the food and ambiance, and stay for the fortune cookie. But not too long! It is a busy and popular place, and others would be thrilled to enjoy it as well.

I hope you enjoyed reading my review as much as I enjoyed the meal, the company, and the overall experience.

My only regret is not taking pictures to share with you. Words don't do this place justice, but i hope I've piqued your interest, and more importantly, your cravings.

Bon...

July 29 around 630 pm Now I freak with your restaurant. I love your restaurant. I think your food is great but when it comes to your service I have to question now. I came in asked for a table of 10 and instead of looking to your left you put us in a corner with two round tables. That means that we were oddly set and it was completely uncomfortable. On the other side of the dining room. There was three square tables which would have held all of us and we wouldn't have been uncomfortable and crowded around two round tables. One was larger and one was smaller. So when you combine the tables you actually have less seating area for us. The young gentleman that served us was attentive. You know miss a couple things. Large party. All good. Took it off the ticket. All good but what about teamwork while he was working his tail off the other two girls were sitting behind the counter on their cell phones and chit chat and not taking care of the floor. They could have helped him move the food out on the floor. You know they're just selfish. You know that's what I saw. All they're in for is just a paycheck you know and if you've got people that are in your business that are just there for a paycheck I would let them go because your business deserves better servers and people that actually want to be a part of a team and actually work together instead of solely and it showed . I'll be back but I'll make sure the young man writes on me and not...

On 12/25/2024 my husband and I went to Shanghai. We have lived in Anthem since 2011 and was always satisfied every time we came till Christmas 2024. We were asked to sit at the bar which was our first time. Took few minutes for the waiter to attend us. We placed our orders. Wegot appetizer first with no silverware. I aaked but took so long so we ate with our hands. We finally got silverware and our drinks after we were done with appetizer. We asked for water with lemon and sprite. We were served in starfoam cups with no lemon. I was shocked, starfoam cups??? We ordered orange chicken, and for the first time, it was nasty, the batter wasn't as fresh and crispy like they used too. Then we got soft lomein noodles, it didn't not look right. Noodles we overcooked and tasted nasty. Then we got chicken fried rice. It looked nasty too. There were not enough soy sauce and rice tasted like it had too much water. We were so hungry so we forced ourselves to eat. The short Hispanic lady waitress who served us asked if we needed to go box, so I said yes . Would have been nice to being them with a bag as we had to bring most of the food home. I asked one of the girls up front for a bag but she was too busy to help. This used to be the best Chinese...
