Mr. Gyros — Restaurant in Black Canyon City

Worst service and attitude ever!!!! Please read whole thing before going.. first review I've ever done, so we walk in and right away the young lady taking orders seemed a little overwhelmed. We ordered a gyro combo and steak salad which she explained would take 10 minutes OR LESS because of the steak, we that was no problem that was 12:27. To eat there. A few minutes later she came out with an order to go that was not even ours (people in the corner said "that's ours" person apologized and then about 5 minutes later brought people behind us (ordered 2 people after) their food and I asked if ours was coming soon. Very rudely and loudly " I thought I told you ten minutes" and then went back and started cooking it. At 12:45 it came out and she said her comment was sorry I know people get irratated when their hungry. I said not irritated about being hungry I'm irritated with your attitude it's been almost 20 minutes now (only 15 per ticket time but felt like 20) she responded by GOING OFF in front of everyone in the place kept yelling at me I asked 5 different times for her to stop talking to me she replied "this is my restaurant and you said it took 20 minute your a lyer" I responded " you said 10 minutes or less and didn't start cooking it until I asked so your a liar and I'll just take my $ back. She ( after 5 more minutes of yelling at me in front of the whole place gave me my $ back and I went next store to subway. Worst people skills I've ever seen and I will do everything I can to make sure they lose as much business as I can. She should have just said sorry and that would have been the end!!!!!!! So I thought I was done until I saw a very similar review from veno albez, please look as I thought she was just having a bad day as well guess you can just treat people that way if...

this place is much better then the stars rating it has.this kid started this place at an age while others his age where just still at home sitting on mom and dads couch playing video games and crying for gas money.his hard work he has really made him a nice place to go for good quick greek food.the gyros are great,they are no arby's wana be gyro nor like them other places that have old frozen slices of meat and dried out pita.by the way people please stop eating at them places.if you want a real gyro get it from a gyro shop.i recommend if your in or around the anthem or desert hills area try them and you too will find yourself a regular and be looking at mike as a friend as well.by the way NO i dont own any part of it nor a family member.just a man who eat there once and as i said you would i became a regular and have always felt treated as a friend invited over to eat.(other then paying for the food)..to the locals,remember to suport our local businesses by spending our money locally or we too will have nothing but empty...

I had no idea this place was even here. What a SHOCKING surprise!!

We entered. Looked at the menu. The pictures. The Gyro Platter looked the best for me.

The actual presentation was bigger and BETTER than the photo!! That NEVER happens. ANYWHERE!!

Starting with the salad, the tomatoes were cut in 1/2" slices. I'd swear they were grown in the Midwest. Delicious!! The cucumber, & lettuce. The same. Fresh out of a garden. Then, I have this HUGE pile of Gyro meat over yellow rice. The meat was spot on....with leftovers because there was so much. And the yellow rice? Was so moist and sticky, the perfect way it should be to compliment the meat while taking bites. I left the restaurant with more than half of my serving for leftovers!! What a deal.

Lastly? Ordered a baklava to go. The pistachio one. Will definitely do this one again. Not too sweet, but sweet enough.
