Nottelmann Music Co — Attraction in Arnold Township

Love this place. Used to rent instruments for band fifteen years ago and I'm still going back for all my guitar needs. I'm not much of an impulse buyer but it's tough to stick to any shopping list when I walk in. First time going to this location I went for strings and walked out with a new Ibanez that was incredibly cheap and it's become my new favorite. It seemed like the setup was already done before I bought it, intonation was perfect, no fret buzz.

My only complaint isn't even much of a complaint at Nottelman's fault, but the brand selection is pretty limited to Ibanez at the moment but that's easily blamed because of covid and shipping issues. But the guitars they do have available are honestly undervalued and there are guitars there for every play style. Great little music store. The staff behind the counter are very helpful and knowledgeable. They seem to go out of their way in helping you and answering any questions you may have about your musical instruments. Jimmy the guitar instructor is a great guy who is very talented. He works with you at your pace and teaches you the songs and lessons you want to play. I only wish I would have started playing when I was younger, because these guys could have turned me pro. Highly recommend Nottleman’s! I bought an electric violin along with an amp from Fender via Amazon and was having issues. I brought them to Nottleman’s and they helped me figure out the amp was actually defective (along with not being an ideal amp for a violin). They showed me an amp that was appropriate and taught me how to set up the dials for the best sound. They really went above and beyond for me and I am very thankful we have such a great music shop...
