I have shopped at this location many times over the years and spent between $100-$200 every time. I have bought many things and donated toys and clothing items several times as well. I came in today after going through all of my children’s clothing and toys that they have outgrown and was going to drop- off the items at the store. I had an entire car full of things because I know how Once Upon a Child makes toys and clothing extremely affordable. I wanted to offer what I had so others could get some good clothes and toys this holiday season. As others had mentioned, I was walking in with my bags of clothes and toys (I had to make multiple trips) and was immediately confronted by a woman with dark brown hair who was extremely unwelcoming. She started listing off everything wrong with the items that I had just spent my entire day sorting through. 1) I can only donate 2 bags/ bins of clothing (even though I have come in and donated well over two before). 2) I used trash bags for the clothing and toys, and she said that I can’t use those in the future, it has to be a bin or a hamper. 3) If the clothes were WRINKLY they probably weren’t going to spend much time looking through the items. 4) If there is part of a set missing (which again she wouldn’t have known because they only took 2 out of the MULTIPLE bags of clothing that I had spent time gathering) they wouldn’t spend much time looking through the items. I was a little taken aback, but decided to tell her I would go back to my car and grab the toys (there is apparently no limit on toys). When I came back, she again had an off-putting attitude and said, “Is this everything?” I informed her that it was, and she said very loudly, “I’m just gonna go ahead and give this toy back to you because it looks too loved and there are pieces missing.” There were no pieces missing. It was a button that the child is supposed to press. I checked all the toys before I went to drop them off at the store. After packing my car full of toys, clothes, and blankets for literally 7 hours today, I was offered $29 and they took a small bin of what I offered. I’m not mad about the money, I’m mad about the fact that I wasted my time and my whole day for this establishment and felt extremely uncomfortable and disrespected during the entire interaction. Once Upon a Child in Arnold, clearly by the 3.6 star review (and reading multiple comments about a dark haired woman who is rude to customers) something needs to change. You have lost a loyal customer who has spent a lot of money at your establishment over the years. From now on I will be donating my clothes and toys to the Goodwill in Arnold or a different location of Once Upon a Child.

Love this place! They have cute clothes for good prices. And staff is so nice and helpful. My daughter always get compliments on her clothes and they look brand new. Can always find what I need for an event or holiday or school theme days. And become reward member and get points, seems I always get coupons. Below my daughter cute Thanksgiving outfit all from this location.

Frequent shopper here and I'm so glad it's close by. Kids outgrow or wear out things so quickly it's much easier and more affordable to be able to upgrade previously owned instead of new.

To shop here it was OK ... but When it comes to me bringing in items for them to buy from me that are pretty much brand new And one name brand athletic shirt that we could not return to Amazon still had the $30 price tag on it they offered me $1 I get you gotta make money but come on and yes with the $30 brand new shirt I did have maybe eight other items that were fairly new and was offered $3 for all of it when you're going to turn around and sell it for 5 or more a piece. Again I understand you have to make money but some things especially when people bring in brand new items with price tags on them at least go half you can still make a little bit of money you will drive your customers away just like you drove me away after that I will not be back and again I did used to like to shop there now I see what you're buying from people and what you're turning away and what you're paying people for their items I do not agree I've heard multiple people complain about the way that you guys buy things and turn down perfectly good clothes they will tell you their discolored one thing i took in I bought it like that at target my daughter wore it two or three times and hit a growth spurt that's the style of some clothes now or you turn down a brand new unicorn and rainbow dress and tell me that's not in style what little seven-year-old girl isn't walking around in rainbows and...

I just wanted to say I believe this store is racists! I've been coming into this store every since my son got out of the hospital for Opened heart surgery in 2019! I saw a white Lady bring in some stuff that wasn't new at all! and the things I brought in was new! Tags still on them also a brand new bike as well they offered me 21.00. I'm like really but the other lady had one bag they took everything! They even gave me things back that still had tags on them as if it wasn't good enough! But the items were in wonderul conditions! Actually looks better than some of the clothing I saw in the stores hanging! If I see items with stains on the racks in the store I definitely thought my items would been excepted! I know this store don't care if a Black person say anything about our experience cause this store isn't meant for us to be in there it is not the same treatment I witness this several time in the past years! Sometimes I go in just to see if things have changed but Nope! Why do we have to get the low ball stick everywhere! This is...
