I could literally write a book about our stay at this hotel! My husband and I drove to this hotel from Florida. My husband, works for Florida National Cemetery. We were in town last week in July 2 weeks ago to be exacted. My husband had to attend some classes on Safety training for his job. This hotel by far, is the best hotel we have ever stayed in! No joke! We have travel many places, many states and stayed in some great hotels, but none top our stay as did here at the Drury Inn. Never, have we experienced a hotel that offers, free buffet breakfast, and buffet dinner. Great food, if I may add, a lot of good choices for whatever you may desire to eat, especially breakfast! I would like to commend the hotel and staff with a million stars! First off, when we checked into our room, there was a minor issue nothing to speak negatively about, it was quick fix, and simple to resolve. I needed someone from housekeeping. I just decided to walk the hall because, as we were going to our room we passed a housekeeping cart. Thought it was a big possibly to find the person the cart belonged too. I looked into the room the cart sat in front of, and noticed a young lady, hard at work, cleaning the room. I called out to the young lady, whom name is Savanna. She stopped everything immediately, and came to our aid, resolved the issue quickly, and said, " if you guys need anything else, please, feel free to reach out for me, I will be here a while longer." Most exceptional young lady, deserve a reward, awesome service! As do another young lady, Hannah, that went out of the way to bring us, on a later time during our stay, fresh towels, because we missed housekeeping, did not get a chance to let them know we were in need of service, due to our week stay. Great job Hannah, you're amazing! Secondly, lets talk about Ms. Kitty, most amazing, sweetest lady ever!! This is a woman, wear many hats! She serves with a spirit of excellence, and with a excellent spirit, on every level, in every arena! As do, Ms. Judy, and Ms. Becky! Lets brag on Ms. Judy for a moment. One morning, I came down just as breakfast had ended, Ms. Judy was busily cleaning up from breakfast, immediately stopped everything, and fixed me breakfast from the back. She went above and beyond expectations! Ms. Becky, as did the other two named women, would allow me to sit in the dining area, as long as I wanted, after breakfast hours with no complaints! They would tell me, I was not in their way, and to take my time. Genuine attitudes, and genuine motives. On another note, there was a very nice younger gentleman that worked during dinner time in the kitchen. So sorry, did not get his name, but if he read this post, or is told about it, he would know that I am certainly speaking, about him. This young man, went above and beyond expectations and made my husband and I sweet tea a few nights, because we do not drink alcohol, nor drink sodas. Again, I give the entire staff, and this hotel a million stars! We highly recommend this hotel to anyone in this area. We would definitely stay again, truly a home away from home! In conclusion, safe quite property, very clean, amazing staff, clean rooms, comfortable beds, and close to restaurants and shopping stores, all in walking distance if one would like to walk, and right near the ...
Read moreWow!!! What an amazing experience! Right from the start! Kayla at the front desk had an award winning, enthusiastic and professional exuberance for customer service! When asked if it was my first time staying at a Drury Inn, I answered “yes,” and she replied: “We are going to rock your world!” Yes!! What a great welcome! The room is set up in three separate areas. 1) A living area, 2) The bathroom, and 3) The bedroom. Everything is clean and tidy. The microwave and mini fridge are really practical features. This area has a few grocery stores and special need diets can be accommodated. Throughout my stay, I noticed the entire team working together harmoniously. I saw Tim Montgomery working tirelessly and with a cheerful attitude in all areas of the hotel including polishing floors. Leadership that leads by example consistently produces a cohesive team. Cassandra also stood out. She took pride in everything she did. From front desk to helping in the dining room, she was pleasant, warm and friendly. I saw all three individuals working throughout the property. This is a truly special place. Their positive energy is distilled throughout the...
Read moreThis hotel has multiple positive attributes. The first is the staff.Their super friendly & ready to help when needed. The second is the update and the kickback hours. It's nice to have the option to eat an evening snack/dinner without leaving the hotel. The pool is small for hotel size but not an issue. The hottub is lacking as it was hot, but there aren't really jets to direct the air, so the air just bubbles up on the side. It wasn't bad, just weird. This hotel has a great location. These factors are the second star of my review, but for me, these do not make up for the terrible beds. Room 513 has the absolute worst bed I have ever attempted to sleep in. I'm not understanding why beds weren't updated when a renovation supposedly just happened here. Also there is currently only one functional elevator so mornings & evenings expect to wait to get to your room.I was looking at adding a couple of nights to my stay, but with the lack of sleep, I'll definitely be finding a new hotel as soon as my crew is stiring this morning. SLEEP quality should be hotels #1 priority, but that is not...
