Had dinner here for my birthday last night with out of town friends. Waitress must have been new , so we tried to be understanding. But geeze louise ( she was like a deer in the headlights with every question) Ordered a tower of margaritas & one strawberry frozen margarita. However she brought us 2 frozen & only ONE glass for the tower .Other adults at the table needed a glass for the tower tho , there was 5 of us! Took a minute but finally got that straightened out … thanks to a great manager . Now the food . Prices are a bit expensive for Arnold .3 tacos with only lettuce and cheese for 10.99 - nothing with them just the tacos ! $6 to add beans or rice . I am aware it is 2025 but the quality and prices just didn’t match up in my opinion . The tacos were not anything special by no means , mine had wilting lettuce, and sooo much grease it took several napkins to soak away some of the grease so it was eatable. Note , it was challenging to get more napkins due to waitress being no where to be found , again manager came to rescue . Everyone has off nights, and I do hope that was the case here . However … Over all it was not the best experience, not so sure if I’ll return ; lots of other like restaurants in the...
Read moreWe went to the Las Fuentes in Arnold, Mo on June 29th 2012 for dinner. We were told by the staff that the A/C was not working. As it turns out the A/C has been out for two days. They continued to stay open for business during this time. The temps during this two days time frame here in St. Louis have been over one hundred degrees. Now one would think that the business makes enough money to have the A/C fixed or replaced, or at the very least have fans placed in the eating areas to at least circulate the air. They had no fans and when I asked was told just that. We go to the Las Fuentes in Oakville frequently and have never been disappointed with the comfort of the visit nor in the quality of the food. I had the Carne Asada burrito, and as I was eating it noticed it had fillers of corn and peas in it and an abundance of watered down refried beans and very little meat, but did have lots of rice. The guacamole looked as if it had been made earlier in the day and the sour cream was watery. Over all I would say it was a very unpleasant unsatisfing experience! DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY GOING TO...
Read moreSince my last very positive review of several months ago, I am really sad to say that this location over the last month has really gone south! Our favorite servers, Hailey and Aurora, have moved on, while Angelica is still there, a good thing. The GM, Jesus, is no longer employed by the Las Fuentes family. He was very friendly, conscientious, and had an exceptional personality. My wife and I always got the table immediately on the left of the door. Jesus refers to us as the PSL seat holders, and the staff knew he was referring to us. The prices going up and up is a common issue with all restuarants, the portions, consistency, and quality are terribly waning at this location! Finally, to the point, it's unfortunately going to be a while before we go back as we search out another Mexican restaurant. Yes, in our opinion, it's gotten that bad, and that's terrible because we have referred this restaurant to many folks we know. It was at one time an astounding restaurant.
Excellent Mexican food! The manager Jesus is awesome and / or favorite server Aurora is...
