St. Louis Kolache — Restaurant in Arnold Township

I've been waiting quite awhile for this place to open...and the kolaches are amazing. I do have a few critiques however...First off seating, definitely needs more. Secondly, though the ladies at the counter weren't rude they also were not very welcoming nor did they take initiative to "sell the product," I've never had kolaches before. My daughter's hadn't either and a good training point is to help guide people and make recommendations for people when needed. We were just stared at when trying to figure out what we may want. I suggest training so that they can say, "Well [insert varieties here] are our best sellers," or "These are my personal favorites." Maybe it's from most of my life spent in customer service that makes me see things this way, but it would go a long way in the business being successful. That being said the product is really good. Especially the sausage gravy kolache, tastes like my homemade sausage gravy. My girls really loved the pulled pork. Update: Okay, my husband and I have finished all twelve kolaches I bought to go. I bought 4 breakfast kolaches, 4 lunch kolaches , and 4 dessert ones. My question is, why would anyone go to any other fast food place again after having one of these? And the double chocolate brownie kolache? OMG!

I was excited to see a kolache place was opening up in Arnold. I tried it today and could not be more impressed. I got the ham, egg, cheese, and jalapeño kolache and it was excellent! I also got a sausage, bacon and cheese kolache and it was great as well. They were so good I went back in and told them I would be back after my doctor’s appointment to get a box full to take home. This is my new go to place for delicious and easy on the go meals for breakfast and lunch. Everyone needs to try this place. It’s next to Schnucks in Water Tower Place. It’s not easily seen from the road so I don’t know how much traffic it will get but this place needs to be tried. Once you do, I guarantee you’ll be back....

The website will not allow me to link my email to my phone number, so I called the Arnold location to place an order. Upon arrival, yhe store was clean and my order was ready, but while standing in line I witnessed the worker coughing over the food without covering their mouth. I'm not sure why everything wasn't already listed since I ordered over two hours ahead of time. After everything was ready for payment, I noticed the price was significantly lower than what was estimated on the website. When I asked about it, I was told that I had received a discount. I should have looked over the receipt more closely and the listed food before leaving the restaurant. When I got home, I counted two less than I had ordered in the box.
