I have been going to this theater since I was little and loved it. Unfortunately, lately there have been a lot of rude people going to this theater. My past few movie experiences here have been ruined by inconsiderate people loudly exclaiming, moving around, and talking during the trailers and movies. When I brought this up with a manager, they were very gracious and offered my boyfriend and I each an extra ticket on them. I am happy to see that the staff is still as kind and accommodating as ever! The tickets say they expired at the end of this January but I am hoping they will still be honored as we received them just this evening.
To anyone reading this, please be quiet during the movie so everyone can enjoy. It isn't fun to be frustrated by loud people throughout the movie, so please don't do it to others.
I would highly recommend Regal consider sending employees into the movies once in a while to monitor this sort of behavior so it is much less likely to be an issue. For reference, I have experienced this problem the last 3 times I have...
Read moreOverpriced but most movie theaters are so I won’t hold that against them. What I will say is this theater is outdated. A/V quality is sub par at best. Even the old theater in Santa Maria is better. I get it, who wants to drive to Santa Maria? I sure don’t but their lack of forward thinking and community consideration forces the trip. Advice: when you have 10 theaters and one breaks down, you need to make smarter choices. There are 10 movies playing and only one of them is a kids movie. You are forced to pull one of the 10 due to the technical problem and you pull the popular kids movie. Who made that decision? It simply reaffirms my need to drive 20 miles for a good movie experience. I’m disappointed in this theater on multiple levels.
I guess I’m just a laser projector, Dolby Atmos, reasonable prices...
Read moreThe theater's charm is overshadowed by its outdated amenities. The seats, reminiscent of the early 2000s, offer minimal comfort, detracting from the overall experience. My main gripe, however, lies with the excessive advertisements. Despite arriving 10 minutes early for an 8:45 PM show, the 30-minute ad marathon delayed the film's start until 9:15 PM. Spending nearly three hours in such seating proved to be a challenge. Moreover, the irony of enduring numerous ads for the theater itself added to the frustration. Coupled with the steep $16 ticket price, the outdated facilities and prolonged ad segments hardly justify the cost. This combination unfortunately leads to a mere...
