I have been a long-time customer of Sit n Sleep Artesia for over 20 years. In August I bought a new Cal King mattress and box spring. Our old set was 25 years old. When they arrived, we noticed that they did not fit all the way in our bed frame by several inches in width and length. The frame cannot be adjusted. When I contacted Sit n Sleep customer service about this, I was told that the dimensions are "approximate". They offered to exchange them through the manufacturer, but there was no guarantee that the next set would be the correct size because the manufacturer does not measure them. We tried the set out for 2 months, but the mattress was not comfortable. We had 120 days to try them out and were offered a "comfort exchange" for the mattress and box springs. I chose a different model of the same brand of mattress along with the exchange of the box spring set. I just had to pay the difference in price plus other related costs for pick up and disposition of the original set. The sales person noted that the mattress and box springs were on separate orders and she worked to consolidate them so they would both be delivered on the same day. An appointment was set for a Friday and I was told I would get a call the night before with an appointment time range for the delivery. No call came and no delivery was made. I called the store to find out what happened to the delivery. The sales person who helped us was not available, so I spoke with an associate who was able to figure out what happened and resolved it so the delivery could be completed the next day. When the mattress and box spring set were delivered, we noticed again that the box spring was not the correct size for our frame. I was not happy. I had to move the box springs to the outer edge of the frame, which left a gap in the center of at least 2 inches. Still not happy. The mattress is fine and I am working on getting comfortable sleeping on it. Just want to share because I think it is important that customers get what they expect when they spend a lot of money for their new mattress and box...
Read moreTo start, I went in on a Thursday evening and was assisted by Rafael. I explained my concerns and situation that I was looking for a mattress that is firm and can use in a hospital bed which is adjustable. I was shown a couple of beds to which price was within my budget. I explained to him that I would need to bring my father to actually try it as it was for him. So I left with some ideas for my father to choose from. I returned Friday December 8th with my father who was discharged from the hospital. We came in and was helped by Jordan and explained that I was in yesterday and had spoken to Rafael and I had my father try the mattress that he recommended. As my father sat on the edge he sunk in a little and asked if there was a firmer one. Jordan had my father try 3 additional mattresses and my father finally chose one. Now the mattress is more expensive but if you want your loved one to be comfortable and confident sleeping knowing that mattress has a 25 year warranty. Within the past 5 years I had bought 2 mattresses that were good for a short period of time. One I bought at a medical supply store in long beach that cost me $800 dollars lasted 3.5 years. The other from Amazon from another supply store spending combined of more than $1500 dollars. I hope this is the final purchase.. As to how I was treated by the sales team I can comment that it felt like family.. Thank you for your time and effort to assist my father and I.. The salesman (Johnny) at the Cerritos Sit & Sleep store did an excellent presentation and explained everything about each mattress. He also demonstrated the adjustable frame (I was especially interested in the adjustable frame that had the vibration & lumbar features). Johnny explained each item on the remote control also. He was very patient and answered all my questions...warranty, return policy, payment methods, discounts available, delivery availability, waterproof mattress pad & colors of sheets & pillowcases???? *THANKS to Cindy also with customer service. She went over my order & made sure it was complete. Cindy--I appreciated your kind voice & concern that my order would all be delivered together in one shipment on the same day...just as Johnny had promised. THANKS Johnny! You were right...I love the PURPLE mattress! The pillows are so comfortable, too....but, I am sure glad I got the adjustable frame with the lumbar & vibration unit. NOW, I CAN SLEEP! *P.S. The delivery went so smoothly! 👌 please thank the two gentlemen who took extra care with unloading & assembling the headboard & bed unit. They both were very fast & efficient & cleaned away all the plastic & empty cardboard boxes. Also, they delivered earlier than we expected. THANKS EVERYONE!... Happy Memorial Day!
