Silver Vines Winery - Arvada — Attraction in Arvada

My husband and I celebrated our 30th anniversary with a party at Silver Vines. Kristen Chayer, one of the owners, prepared the most beautiful and delicious charcuterie 'deck' (for a reasonable price!) with a lovely variety of cheeses, meats, veggies, stuffed peppers, crackers, olives, fig jam (love the fig jam!), meatballs, etc. We really liked the small tray- type plates used to put the food in, they were perfect. Kristin and staff refilled the food as needed, being right on top of things from the very beginning. I said at one point they were doing everything exactly as I would have, which allowed me to relax and enjoy our friends; I was just so impressed. And our 30+ guests were impressed as well with the selection of food and just how everything was being attended to. Which of course included the wine, the service provided by Stephanie and Jennifer (?), and how we had a register dedicated just to our party. If you're a Silver Vines fan you also know how great the wine is, from Valhalla to Encore to the Cabernets (I like the reds!). And we can't leave out the super entertainment from Mike Strappelli with my husband sitting in. I so highly recommend Silver Vines for your next event...Kristen, Jeff, Diane and Lee are the most gracious hosts, we can't say enough good things about all of them. Great atmosphere and even better service! My boyfriend and I were lucky enough to stop in when one of the owners, Jeff, was working. He made the wine tasting a highlight of our trip for sure, I’m so glad we got the opportunity to have a great conversation and learning experience here! You can really tell how much care and knowledge goes into their wine-making process. This place is a must stop if you are in the area, and don’t forget to check out the art at the front when you walk in! A really sweet local artist named Reno, who we had the pleasure of meeting as well, has a beautiful collection of drawings...

Loved it so much I joined their wine club and booked a wedding rehearsal party there. The atmosphere is fabulous, a great variety of wines, and a friendly staff. I definitely recommend it for a relaxing glass of wine, to pick up a bottle, or to have for a unique event location.

Dec update: had my son's wedding rehearsal party there and it was perfect! The atmosphere was lovely and the set up makes for lots of moving around and conversations, while there is a great area to put the food and the wine. I got tons of compliments on the party and would highly...
