I have the highest regard for NTI's mission and vision. My own mission and vision around nutrition education and holistic clinical approaches brought me to NTI. I initially planned on just doing nutrition study, but read about its Natural Food Chef program and was sold on starting there after meeting chefs and students in a cooking demo. Talking to chefs in the NFC program made me see the applicability of being able to make food taste good while also being informed or trained in nutrition was essential for helping people change eating habits. After completing NFC, I have continue to follow through on the Nutrition Therapy Master Certificate program. I appreciate the flexibility in being able to pursue it slowly, one class at a time. I wish I had time and money to treat it like school and finish it one year, but am just glad I have this opportunity to slowly absorb at this pace. It has been incredible learning updated science on nutrition. In contrast, it's stunning how hard it is to find good and updated research on these subjects trying to just use the Internet. I'm so appreciative of what I have learned so far in the first six courses, and cannot wait to finish my study here and put my plans for my vision into action. It has been worth every penny I have spent to have this opportunity. The study is no joke. Whichever program you choose, these are real time commitments and real school. Every minute has also...
Read moreI completed the Natural Chef program at NTI in 2020 and am currently finishing up my first classes in the Nutrition Therapy Master Certification program. All of the instructors that I have met so far have been top notch with a lot of experience in their chosen fields as well as passion and excitement for what they do. I appreciate the different types of learning experiences that they offer as well as the flexibility to move within them. The independent start option has made it possible for me to pursue this program right now while working full time although I would love to take an in person class in the future. I loved the hands on experience of the chef program, and I think it says a lot about the school when students decide to complete both programs. After taking graduate level science courses, I was honestly a little concerned that this program would not prove to be challenging enough and I would be wasting my time and money. Boy was I wrong. The classes are challenging and interesting while being completely backed by sound science but holistic in nature. I started at NTI to change career paths to a field that aligns more closely with my values, and the programs at NTI are helping me to do just that. The owners Diane and Chris have truly created a gem...
Read moreI am almost through my 2 year program at NTI, and the experience has been exceptional – both in helping me understand my own body and nutritional needs, as well as preparing me to begin my own nutrition therapy practice. NTI is a great school for science based holistic nutrition. I researched several schools and found few programs that aligned so nicely with my personal holistic views. The staff is helpful and friendly, and I appreciate the instructors, especially William and Dr. Becky. They are concerned about me as an individual, and they answer whatever questions I have. If they don’t know answers, they take the time to research along with me. The classes are offered online or in person, and the curriculum is thorough and up to date. I find the courses engaging, and when I crave more information, the resources are abundant. What I really like is that the school policy is not to dictate protocol, but to teach science and with that knowledge encourage the drawing of conclusions according to individual chemistry and need. I would recommend this school to any avid learner who wants to dive in and explore the functionality and individual intricacies of our bodies and how we can be rejuvenated with proper food...
