Horrible customer service at the Asheboro Spectrum location. ( 836 south Fayetteville st. Asheboro 27203).
I had an appointment scheduled for 6:40 to exchange my equipment. This was after speaking with a customer service agent and verifying that this location was open and also receiving an email confirmation and a text confirmation of my appointment time. I arrived early at 6:03. I was unfamiliar with the location and drove around that back. A man was standing out back and I asked him where I should park for my appointment. He then told me "we are closed". I preceded to tell him that I had a confirmed appointment time for 6:40 the the stated again "we are closed" and would not offer any more support.
I pulled back around to the front and saw that the lights were still on and that there was a person inside and a customer there. On the door was a sign posted that said " temporary hours" I knocked on the door and was ignored. I waited for the man to open the door for the customer who was inside to leave. I explained that I had a confirmed appointment for 6:40. He then said they were closed. He closed the door on my face.
I then knocked on the door and he opened it again. I asked to speak to the manager. The same person I saw out back came to the door and refused to open or speak to me he just smirked and waved at me.
This type of customer service is not acceptable. First off I should not have been able to book an appointment and confirm it in 2 different ways only to have it booked for a time that the store was closed.
Everyone I have spoke to on the phone have been absolutely wonderful. This complaint is specifically directed to the in person interaction I had with the staff at the Asheboro location. Do better Spectrum ! You need to have come training for this location on...
Read moreI'm not a customer. I called spectrum one time to get them to move a cable that has been laying accross my driveway for six weeks so it can be repaved. I called to give at least two weeks notice before driveway is to be repaved. Five different people from spectrum called me over one days time asking me the same questions over and over again. Name, address, phone number and what the problem is. Five times i gave them the same info. They emailed and phoned my neighbor two times?????. They sent a service guy to my neighbors house????? Seems that if a non customer calls they send the service guy to the nearest customers house instead of address given?????? 5 times????? My neighbor sent the guy to me. He said "I dont do cables accross driveways". Thats another guy. Thats been over two weeks ago. And yes, the cable is still there. All i can say is " Spectrum Is One Screwed Up Company. Update. Now it has been over 3 months. Cable is still there. There has been 4 service guys here in the past 3 months. They all say the same. "I will get it done". Sure, yeah right. But i dont think its the service guys. I think they are a little embarrassed about the whole thing and they want to do right. In think its the company. Spectrum wants the check every month. Thats all they care about. Whats funny-- A guy was here today trying to sell me internet and tv. Laughing Laughing Laughing. Update. Now it's been near six months. Another spectrum guy come by a few weeks ago saying the same thing "I will get it done" Yeah right, where have i heard that before. Guess what? Today they got it done. Spectrum will get it done. But first you have to wait and wait and...
Read moreCustomer service was terrible at this office. I told the sales rep Zachary that I was there to pick up equipment. He asked for my name... looks it up in the system. Then, I proceeded to tell me that my equipment was mailed out. I explained to him what had happened and how I was instructed to come to a spectrum office to pick up the equipment. He proceeds to tell me that I'm not supposed to come to that office. I told him I'm doing what I was told and that has nothing to do with me that is between spectrum company. He goes to the back and grabs 4 boxes and scans all of them but 1 and then said nothing I can do for you. He gave me a number , I asked to speak to his supervisor, and he told me she's not there and I asked for her name he said I don't think I can give you that. Then he said I don't know her name and walked away. I asked his coworker, and the Hispanic man turned his head like I wasn't talking.i asked the black guy, and he went to check the back office and said she's not here. I asked what her name was, and he replied back with Jessica. This is not how you communicate with your customers. Zachary was really rude and very unprofessional. His communication skills need to be looked at. You need to talk to whom you have representing your company. I do not have a spectrum office where i live, and asheboro is the closest to my home. I am being told different stories that I can pick up, and then he tells me something...
