My husband and I visit a lot of minor league stadiums and here are our takeaways from the Asheville Tourists: Pros: - Mascots were walking around a lot and interacting with fans - Parking is free (but very, very limited, so get there early if you don’t want to walk too far) -Dollar Dog night was good -Fireworks were pretty impressive, they were constantly shooting off and the show was long Cons: -Not many food options and a small concourse -Their merchandise store was very small and did not have a lot of the merchandise we normally see at ballparks (pennants, jerseys) -The concourse and concessions are closed off from the field so you cannot view the game while waiting in line (they do have in-seat food delivery, but still) -Very small scoreboard so you cannot view player stats or anything other than their names -Fan services guy was rude to us when we first got there. I don’t know his name but he set a negative tone to this stadium for us. Luckily, there was another guy there on our way out who we spoke to that was very pleasant.

this is the best place in Asheville to go and have family fun at a price that won't break the bank. Even for ballpark food the prices are not bad some things a little more than others so be selective in your choice but everything they offer is good. they are always adding new selections of food and sweet treats at the Ballpark. They have a ton of giveaways every game and premium giveaways select dates throughout the season. Once again support your local baseball team. Go Asheville tourist. Don't forget to sign up free giveaways when you enter the park and be sure to grab a free program to search for giveaways during the game on select pages.

What an excellent and historical ballpark! I've traveled to several professional ballparks across the nation, and I'm proud to say that McCormick Field is my home venue. It's a short field with no bad seats (though I prefer sitting behind home plate towards third base). When it's sunny, you'll definitely want to sit in the shade, especially if you have children. Overall, the food is good and a fair value, and there is an excellent selection of local beers available. Perhaps the biggest selling point for me is the friendliness and helpfulness of everyone in the staff, who look to ensure that everyone has an amazing time.

Tourist home games are everything that's great about minor league baseball. A trip to historic McCormick Field offers you friendly vendors and fans, mid-inning contests between kids and mascots, and even charming light fixtures shaped like baseballs. Ticket prices are ridiculously cheap for a seat in a ballpark so small it feels like everyone is practically on the field. Everyone cheers while the Tourists play their hearts out. What's not to love?! And don't forget "Thirsty Thursdays" which give you the chance to enjoy local craft beers from "Beer City" for cheap, and "Dollar Dogs" and fireworks on Fridays.

This was a fun experience. Every seat in the house has a great view of the field. The venue has great food & beverage choices and the prices aren't terrible. The lines weren't terribly long each time I went down for refreshments. I went on a Friday night for $1 hotdogs. The $1 hotdogs are what you'd expect: a bit small, no added toppings. A variety of domestic and craft beers available with the most expensive being $8. Fireworks after the game on Friday nights. I was actually impressed with the display. All in all, this is a great place to bring the family at an affordable price.

The experience at McCormick field is fantastic compared to other minor league teams in the south east. My family enjoys going here to watch the team play. Most seats in the stadium are good but the Bojangles seats are definitely the best value (picture included). One thing which really stands out to me about the stadium is the concession options. It always seems as though minor league teams are rather limited compared to major league stadiums when it comes to what they can offer but the options at McCormick outshine many major league stadiums as well.
