We decided to make a day trip to Asheville while on vacation in the mountains and this was our first stop. It was such a perfect beginning to our day. I was skeptical at first when I saw the line out the door with my hangriness creeping up on me in a major kind of way. However, it moved fairly quick and I was out at ease when I noticed their different method of ordering and seating visitors. The line is to place your order at a single register. Whilst in line, someone else was asking how many people were in your particular party. That info is saved at the register point and they have a number that is already prepared for you with the corresponding number placed where they have chosen for you to sit. This seemed to work very well in this quaint little place. I wouldn't be sure with larger parties when it's busy but there were only 2 of us so we sat after placing our order. I personally didn't veer too much from my comfort zone as I had a hankering for a typical bacon egg and cheese biscuit so that's what I requested with a side of their Gouda covered home fries. They have more eclectic biscuit dishes if you so desire but I was just wanting a specific taste that morning. The food is organically and locally sourced along with their coffee which is always a nice bonus for me. They also have a very amazing jam bar with unique flavors that will rock your socks off. The chili mango and orange clove were the favs this morning. And then the food came around...just jaw-dropping. But remember to keep picking it up so you can successfully consume your amazing biscuity breakfast. The staff was amazing, the food amazing, environment amazing so you obviously must come here. I might love this place too much....

Honestly, food this delicious should be illegal (but I’m glad it’s not)!

We spent the weekend camping for our first anniversary with our best friends and decided that our departure breakfast would be our first time at Biscuit Head.

The wait was about 20 minutes when we arrived at 9:45. The line looked long, but moved very quickly. An employee would come out periodically asking for to go orders or if anyone wanted to eat outside (it was cold) in order to serve those patrons more quickly. The staff as a whole is very friendly and efficient. The atmosphere is amazing and not as loud as you would expect which was a huge plus for us. The decor is adorable and great for cat lovers! Now, to the food. THE FOOD! Biscuit Head is, without doubt, the best food I have had in my entire 35 years of life. The quality is superb and the flavors are an absolute explosion of love in your mouth. The gravy has the perfect kick of spice and the pimento cheese grits are the perfect combo for a great southern side. My wife and I shared the “Filthy Animal” and “Full Breakfast” and were more than satisfied with the entire experience. We even grabbed a biscuit to go for our daughter who is a true brekky connoisseur. Lastly, GET THE OJ! That and the Nutella Mocha Latte were the most amazing beverages to pair with such a delicious meal.

Thank you Biltmore Biscuit Head for being the perfect ending to our unforgettable one year anniversary! We’ll see you next year for our second!

If you love a good biscuit then you must go to Biscuit Head. Stopped on my last morning in Asheville and the food was even better than I remembered.

The biscuits are A 10/10. Perfectly flaky and a great flavor. The biscuits are also large, one breakfast sandwich is filling, no need to worry about leaving hungry. This time I had the chicken biscuit. The chicken is so flavorful and was cooked just right, but I also recommend getting the chicken gravy to take it to the next level of flavor. I also tried the shiitake mushroom gravy this time. The gravy is very earthy and robust; if you like a more umami flavor, then you should definitely try it out.

If you’re looking for more, the pimento cheese grits are incredible. The jalapeño pimento is so well balanced; provides a subtle heat without overpowering the dish. The grits are rich and creamy and it was the perfect addition to my biscuit. Lastly, THE LATTES! Wow. Out of this world flavor combinations. We had the Nutella and Maple Bacon. You’ll be hard pressed to find a double espresso flavored latte for only $5. Exceptional food and service.

I recommend ordering online and taking your food to a nearby park to eat. The pickup experience was convenient and smooth. Our order was ready exactly at the time we ordered and packaged nicely. Also, their online ordering system is great, super easy to make customizations to your food and just a really user friendly platform. Can’t wait to come back the next time I’m in town; it’s my favorite...
