Provisions Mercantile — West Asheville — Attraction in Asheville

First class service & awesome selection. I had been on the hunt for a specific bag all around Avl, and couldn’t find it. I called Katie at Provisions and she directed me to their Biltmore Village location.

That’s when I met Kay and experienced the best service I’ve received in Avl…ever!

They didn’t have the bag style I wanted but Kay called several other boutiques I had not tried yet to help me out (who does that!?) but they didn’t have anything either.

So, Kay found the exact bag I had been looking for online (she found the exact one without me showing her🤯) and ordered it direct for me. She did all of this while navigating a busy store with lots of guests.

She is a legend! Seriously, I never write reviews but wow! I’m very grateful for the kindness and intentionality.

They even have beer and wine on tap to sip on while you shop or chill. I want to go back just to try that...

This store is like Rose Apothecary on Schitt's Creek joined forces with a Williams-Sonoma and Mast General Store and then the whole endeavor was blessed by Dolly Parton patron saint of Appalachian woman led commerce. It is lovely, it is delightful, and you will find something(s) to take home. Want coffee, hand cream, children's playroom decor, a witty t-shirt for your hubby, grits, jam, and a skillet? Great! They have all of those things. My favorite product is the Atkinson's biscuit mix. You don't have to tell anyone you use a mix; it can be our secret. Provisions made Mother's Day gifting SO easy. My mom and my two sisters (also mothers) are each a little different in personalities, but Provisions had the perfect gifts for each of them. For one sister, I got a cute t-shirt and candle for her home, for another I gave a comfy shirt and campfire cocktail kit for summer, and for Mom I gifted a beautiful candle that smells like the ocean (since our beach getaway is delayed) and a gorgeous tumbler.
