I pulled out my Nintendo WiiU to play some old school Zelda games with my kids. Set it all up and tried turning it on…nothing. I was pretty upset because I had so many games downloaded on that console that I thought were lost forever. I searched and searched on ways I can try fixing it but it all was too complex to navigate and I accepted the fact years of data and games were lost forever.

In a last ditch effort , I searched “game console repair near me” and boom, Retro & Rare Video Games & Repairs popped up. I filled out the form on their website and had a reply from them right away. I dropped it off, described my issue with them, and left hoping they could restore my console.

No joke, in less that 24 hours from dropping off my WiiU, I got an email saying it was fixed and ready for pickup! I think you can even mail them your broken device and they will fix it and mail it back! As an added bonus, they were able to fix my kids Switch Lite as well.

I highly recommend this company to fix anything old or new when it comes to video games. I will definitely go...

Absolutely fantastic experience at Retro and Rare Video Games! I’m just starting to dip my toes into the world of vintage video game consoles and collecting, and the gentleman working there went above and beyond to help me get started (sorry I didn’t get his name). He was incredibly knowledgeable and clearly passionate about the hobby.

Not only did he guide me through the basics and make solid recommendations, but he also pointed me toward a few other great local stores and some reliable online sources to check out. When I forgot one of the names later, I shot him an email and he responded almost immediately. That level of care and customer service is rare these days.

William is very professional and gave my fiance and I a generous discount to repair total of 3 of our consoles, 2 Xbox’s and PS4 Pro. Both Xbox’s had issues with primarily our hdmi was broken and also disc drive. My 6 year old bonus son had a disc jammed inside of it as well. It had a slight infestation and he deep cleaned the inside of it and repaired the disc drive to our Xbox. The second Xbox was very dusty and needed an hemi repair. He did an amazing job on both Xbox’s and repaired my PS4 for the laser eye needed fixing and my PS4 was running hot.
