I ordered a quarter ham holiday meal online for in-store pick-up. I called ahead, as the website did not indicate a pick-up time. I was greeted with a bit of an attitude that I should know that there is no set pick-up time. Just sometime before 7 pm closing time. There is a small free parking lot right off of the very busy intersection of Hendersonville Rd & Long Shoals. The store has one table for eat-in orders. There were 3-4 staff working, but my order got pushed up two staff to the manager to process. Needless to say, the customer service left a lot to be desired. However, the food itself was excellent. The sides come frozen, but re-heat well in the oven. Give yourself time, because this will take about an hour if using the oven. We had green bean casserole, Mac-n-cheese & scalloped potatoes. I called ahead to verify their new location and I was told that they had several hams to choose from. Drove 30 roundtrip miles just to pick up a ham and they turned me away because they are only selling to reserved customers. Went back to the Arden NC store same day and spoke with the manager about my concerns. She stated she had no control over the issue and made no attempt to make things right. I left and went to the local grocer and bought a similar honey glazed ham from Smithfield for $30 less. It was excellent! Will repeat the Smithfield experience next year. I emailed my order in and then called to confirm the order. I was told that they did recieved my order. When I went to pick it up, they couldn't find where I had emailed or called. I went back to my office and called again just to make sure that I did not call or go to the wrong place.
