Aston Public Library — Attraction in Aston Township

Nice little library. Clean and good selection of books. The librarians are nice and friendly. The kids section has a small area to play but is not closed off to the rest of the library. FYI: If you cannot find a book at a library you can order it from another library and have it sent to the library you can go to, as long as it is part of Delaware County Libraries. Good parking. Computers available but no study areas. Folding tables and chairs in the common area for studying. A large play area for toddlers makes the common room LOUD! Banging toys and loud children make noise. It was really frustrating to try and study or read here. Maybe they could move the play area to closer to the reception desk so the noise can go out of the library? Why does the library need toys? The playground is very nice and well-equipped. There's a little something for everyone. My only complaint is that there is no shade. Today it is in the high 70s and some of the play equipment is already very hot. Imagine the middle of the summer how hot does equipment will become.
