New Aston Palace — Restaurant in Aston Township

This is my go to Chinese place in the area and I order about once a month and the food is always good. They did get rid of their sweet and sour soup which is my favorite, so eventually I’ll probably try somewhere new (this place is just a two minute drive from my house so it wins out of convenience) I wouldn’t say it’s the best food but it’s good- I don’t like my food over seasoned and like to actually taste the food though- their ingredients seem to be fresh and good quality, great quality veggies which is why I like it here.

HOWEVER they have a really annoying cash only policy. If your order is below $10 you have to pay cash. Who carries cash?! I tried to order yesterday, my order was $8.50 and they wouldn’t allow me to order because I didn’t have cash! This was the first time I’m ordering from New Aston Palace I must say they are very polite however not worth the money. The miso soup was very bland, just absolutely tasteless. The salad was drenched with ginger dressing, it would have been great if the ginger dressing was automatically put on the side. I will admit that I haven’t tried any other dishes here however all in all, this isn’t the best place to get sushi from. Will not order again.

Update: I was thinking about giving them a second chance so I stop by in person and I definitely wouldn't be eating...

PLEASE BEWARE OF THIS PLACE!!!!!!!!!!! We found a roach (bug) in our General Tso Chicken. When I took the food back and showed them the roach with antennas they act as if I was the problem for speaking in front of other customers. I have never written a review before, however I feel it is important to let consumers know. I still feel sick because I ate there many times before. They are a public health hazard.
