*UPDATE #2: My foot is broken, got my X-rays done. As per the report, I will be needed surgery. Still no call or email from your organization. The lack of communication is crazy to me. In addition, everyone I have spoken to about my accident all say: “I went there once, and never went back”…
I just wish i read the reviews before going to your skating ring‼️‼️‼️
I’m bedridden, thank you so much! You’ve ruined my experience. You’ve also caused me so much pain and suffering. I have to have my coffee, lunch and supper all for me, can’t leave my house because of the pain and my life quality has been impeded.
*UPDATE #1: I reached out to your organization with no reply, and you respond to my review by wishing me a speeding recovery. There is another review on here describing the safety hazards at your rink. I’m confused as to why customer service and follow up is at an all time low. I lost a whole week of work, my moral is down and I haven’t been able to leave my house in 7 days. The denominator in this equation was my BAD decision to go to your skating rink. Your organization should really take the time to follow up with your INJURED patrons
I got severely injured at this skating rink, it was my first visit and I was being OVERLY cautious because it was my firs time roller skating.
So some reason, they place the beginners in the middle of the rink, while the advance skaters skate on the outer perimeters.
In my attempt to exit the circle to get sit down, I fell because there was no way to exit the circle at a slow speed without the possibility of colliding with an advance skater.
A collision did happen, and I’ve been confined to my bed for 7 days due to the injury. They took my information and never followed up with me. I also sent an email and no one has gotten back to me.
The fault is in the signalling and safeguarding new skaters. Be very careful...
Read moreI went on a Tuesday night. This was my first time coming here as an experienced skater. You guys do put on one hell of a front on your website, and I was excited to skate with y'all- though I was sorely disappointed. While I was skating there were so many safety hazards on the floor and no one was backing up any safety protocols or even addressing the issues. There was a toddler-sized child, not even three years old, running around on the skate floor unsupervised by his parents. I witnessed people almost running into him as he walked around in the fast lane. I even saw his parent/guardian actually encouraging him to go further out on the floor, meanwhile staff was nowhere to be seen. There was no floor guard of any sort. There were children skating the wrong way, skating recklessly. There were groups of people just standing in the fast lane taking group photos with no regards of how the rules of the rink go. There was a man holding his young child while he was on skates. He was just skating around with his child in his arms. Even for experienced skaters (which he wasn’t) this is EXTREMELY DANGEROUS. Absolutely no skating etiquette whatsoever. People didn’t look before merging into slower lanes so I got cut off a lot. I’m so big on safety, especially in places like these, where I myself have gotten injured by under-enforced rules. It makes me wonder what it’s like on the weekends when there are more people. Honestly I’m surprised I haven’t heard of any lawsuits here. PLEASE do better. Let’s make this safe...
Read moreWith Cascade going up in price, there is no excuse to be lacking on some serious improvements that need to be addressed. For one, bathrooms. I have never seen soap actually stocked in the restroom. The sinks are constantly dirty, and they look the same every time I go as if no one is cleaning them at all. The bathroom floors are always wet, which being that your customers are primarily all on skates, is a concern. Secondly, the admission line ridiculous. With your price increases, you should be able to staff a second person to run the second window, at least on your most popular nights. If there is ever an issue with payment, or a party trying to get through (which there often is) it stops up the entire line. Lastly, with these price increases, there need to be updates on the skate floor itself. The gap in wood on the outside of the rink is completely unacceptable, ESPECIALLY considering that a customer just dislocated an ankle trying to navigate through it. There is almost no effort put into the skate experience itself, ie: a decent floor to skate on or cool lights that stay on longer than the slowset.
One thing I will give the rink some credit on is that it seems that they are finally starting to get DJs to play more variety, instead of the same tired tracks from 20 years ago played on repeat every session. With these price increases we will be expecting an increase in totally quality...
