Exhibition Hall — Attraction in Atlanta

Just stepped into the Exhibition Hall at Georgia Tech’s Student Center (460 Fourth Street NW) two days ago—and wow, it lives up to the hype. This 12,000 sq ft ballroom is incredibly versatile, easily partitioned into five separate areas depending on the event’s needs .

Walking in, what struck me was the seamless flow between the expansive pre-function space, the open indoor areas, and the scenic outdoor table spots along the Experiential Pathway—perfect for mingling or a quick break between sessions . The fact that Tech Dining’s catering HQ is on-site? Game-changer. No more waiting for food trucks to roll up; your snacks are practically around the corner .

The audio-visual setup was top-notch—everything from livestreaming gear to mics and screens was ready to go. Seriously, they make hybrid events look effortless .

What stood out:

Exceptionally organized layout that adapts to various event formats.

Catering convenience—must-have for longer gatherings.

Tech-savvy infrastructure—A/V, livestreaming, microphones: check, check, check.

Decent accessibility—there’s paid visitor parking nearby and good directions for getting here .

One small nitpick: Given its size, it felt a bit echoey in parts. Some more acoustic damping (like soft panels or drapes) might make speeches and conversations...
