I’ve been a resident with my two daughters at GE Towers for 16 years! This property has definitely changed dramatically since I’ve been here! It really changed when Felicia Williams became our Manager! She took this property from a rating of a 1 to a 5 and actually she needs they need more stars! She changed the landscaping, she set curfews, she made she we got lights all around the building, she made sure that our gates and doors stay lock for our protection! Residents that were negative and causing a ton of issues for our community were had to go! She is a true professional! She handles everything with decency and in order! She makes the best decisions for her residents and her property she takes great care of us all! We had an issue with our paperwork not being handle properly! She knows the system and since she knows her paperwork! Since she’s been our manager the crime rate is down, we have camera’s all over this property! I feel so safe! It feels like home and I love coming home to GE Towers! She treats us like family but she is also stern and she don’t play about policies and standard her company! She loved by her residents , auditors, contractors, landscapers and anyone she does business with! She a very professional loving kind woman who has a passion for this business, it’s like It is her God giving gift! I can’t begin to explain how she has and was been here for me and my family when I went through one of the hardest times of my last time! I don’t know who hired her but I’m truly grateful for her!
Now, we all know that she can not run this property by herself so I have to tell about this amazing team that she has hired to help her reach her goal!
Assistant Manager: Sherronda Dotson is one of the best assistant managers that we’ve ever had outside of Ms Felicia! She is a perfect fit for Ms. Felicia! She knows her job and she does her job! This has given Ms. Felicia freedom to do her job! Sherronda, wants to help her resident! She welcomes you with a beautiful smile! She wants to see us! She look forward to seeing us! She communicates with us very well, she make sure she understands what it is that we needs! She encourages us! She makes sure our paper is correct! I have never seen someone put in a work order like she does! She an excellent multitasker! She goes above and beyond the call of duty to make sure she does her job correctly and if she don’t have understanding she calls and make sure that she is knows exactly how to do what my request is! Her office is so clean, motivating and inspiring! She is a beautiful woman but her beauty compares nothing to her heart! She knows this business! She has a heart just like and. Felicia! She respects her boss to the fullest extent it! She very organized which I feel is very important in this business! She patient, she listens, she funny but most of all she is AMAZING LADY THAT CARES! She don’t treat us like we are nothing because we leave on based on income! She treats us like humans and she cares that our request are not only done but done promptly and correctly! She loves us! She gives your her so much joy by the sight of her and because you know that when you go in the office that you are dealing with a lady that want to help you! I can on and on about this amazing lady but I will stop here Convergent found a needle in the haystack with her! Thanks to whomever hired her!
Carlos Lawson: Is our loss Prevention Officer! HE DO NOT PLAY AT ALL! I feel so safe living here knowing that her is over this very important position! He has camera’s all over! From the tome he gets to work he walks the property! I don’t think he sits down! He makes sure our doors and gates are secure! He speaks but he is definitely in like a military he is serious about protecting us and keeping people out of this building that are not supposed to be here! He is such a blessing to us! He walks on the outside around all 3 building, he walks every hallway in every building, he checks stairwells and all! When I tell you he don’t play about his residents and our protection.......
Read moreHONEST REVIEW: This property has declined tremendously. The owners obviously don’t care and it’s clear based on the professionalism of the staff. They operate in a way that shows there is no reprimand for unfulfilled tasks. I wouldn’t be surprised if all the staff below the regional manager is operated by a temp service. Trash is frequently overflowing. Rats are in heaven under those dumpsters. Maintenance staff changes weekly. Insect infestation all over the buildings. Mainly ants. Naturally roaches are pretty isolated to certain apartments. Cleaning staff is sub par at best, I smell bleach maybe once a month, maybe. Elevators are frequently non-functional, at least 2-4minths time out of the year. Stairwells are NEVER cleaned. A cleaning staff exists. Many kids are frequently unsupervised. Parents allegedly exist. Glass from repeat break-ins are on the ground in at least 6-8 parking spaces still till this very moment! With all the obvious maintenance issues, the management company recently installed vending machines before fixing the security gate and floor entrance doors which has been wide open since May. Mind blowing. The on-site manager is your typical “non-caring/here for the paycheck” manager. Office hours are a joke. Seriously. Note on door says by appointments only. Appointment number rings to the office. No one is in the office to answer the phone. They always seem to be busy when the office is open but the property steadily declines. In their defense, I imagine the workload is overwhelming but their lack of character and care in conversation overshadows any empathy one would have. It’s hard to blame her though because she’s just at work. If her boss doesn’t care why would she care? Many issues tenants have are above the on-site manager. At least that’s the feeling you get. There is no working corporate number that is answered by a physical person. No email for corporate anywhere. At this rate, with the staff and management company staying the same…it will be a mini “Forest Cove Apartments” type of environment within a year or two. (They are nationally ranked in crime) “Weller management” are the new owners and their reviews of anything associated with that company reflects exactly what I’m saying. So clearly, the management company has a clear and documented history with complying just above the threshold of habitable conditions associated with workforce properties. Everyone associated with that management company in corporate is just cashing the check until there’s a consequence for unfulfilled tasks. All in all…Its a based on income housing property with the potential to be a comfortable safe...
Read moreI don’t stay here and really don’t care to live here at this point. I came here February 15, 2019 around 430pm because I received a letter in the mail stating that I have until the 15 to bring my form back up there completed for their current waitlist. The paper also stated all the necessary documents that I needed in order to gone and speed the process of the application up. After handling all of my mommy duties I decided to hurry up and get there before they close. The form CLEARLY STATE to bring $50 money order , birth certificates and social security cards for all household members and ETC. Not to mention I’m not stupid and plus I just did the exact same thing for another set of apartments who also just mailed me the same thing and they accepted all of the documents that I just stated the day I went to bring them my form as well. So I get there, it’s already a young lady sitting their filling out her form the young lady from the office asked me how could she help me and I replied to her saying that I was there to turn in my waitlist form. She replied “don’t the paper have specific times when to bring it” being sarcastic so I replied yes it’s the 15 right and it’s not 5:00 yet. After this experience I really don’t even wanna stay here. I won’t allow someone to talk down to me because of their position. Before I came I read the reviews but something ain’t adding up I didn’t get a friendly experience. If they do call me back I would...
