I came this morning to get the acrylic/gel set off from my last visit here. I asked if I could soak my nails off, as ripping them off is painful. I also specified more than once that I intended to keep my natural nail length and asked for him not to cut my natural nails. He asked if I had time to soak my nails and I stated that I did. However, the gentleman doing my service then elected to cut the tips of my acrylic nails off, without any regard to the natural nails underneath, and the nails I have been working for months to grow are now short and jagged. When I asked why he cut my real nails even after I said not to, he said ābecause theyāre uneven.ā If it is not hurting you or someone else, not illegal or immoral, I believe that you should listen to the guests that support you about how they would like their bodies to be treated. I specifically asked for something and was ignored, which leads me to believe I wasnāt respected. You donāt get to tell paying customers what you think their nails should look like, and I was aware they werenāt all the same length. I was trying to grow my nails out and I only got the acrylic on top to protect them, which was working until this man chose to cut my nails today after I asked him not to. He then got an attitude with me and told me he didnāt have to do my nails then. Thank you to the young lady inside who did actually apologize to me when I left in tears. I will...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI decided to try this nail salon out and the first time and I should have known when my first time I arrived the lady was arguing with a customer as they were both using profanity to each other. I decided to change Nail Salonās due to the fact that this one is closer to my house and Iām in a power wheelchair and itās easier for me to maneuver to this nail salon. The second time I went she tells me that she can no longer do my toes because I hurt her back the last time she did my feet. I didnāt understand because my power wheelchair lifts higher than the spa chairs and the only thing she does is a color change on my toes. I didnāt really understand. I donāt know if itās discrimination or not but I was very upset and a little appalled that she would even say something like this to me, however I asked them would they like to lose a customer they both said it doesnāt matter they both ( her and her husband) was very nonchalant and rude about the entire situation I spend good money on my nails, however after paying for my nails I ask them would they like me to return they told me no because they canāt do my toes maybe I need to find another salon thatās willing to do my toes as well as my nails I want to support the neighborhood businesses but I will continue to go to the northside I am so very appalled and upset I wish there is the way I can file a ADA with...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWas really hoping this would my next go-to place. I went to get my nails done with my friend and was wanting to get our nails done together. They were understaffed but I was patient and sat through my friend getting her nails done. When the nail tech was done with hers he started on mine. This was nearly 2 hours after I had arrived. He made a big fuss about having my nails refilled even though I said I wanted a brand new set. He told me I shouldāve told him that so that my nails couldāve been soaking while he was doing my friends nails. (Of course he needed to ask me this upon my arrival but did not. So thatās not my fault). All I wanted was a full set with French tips. Something so simple was made such a fuss of. I told him nevermind and Iāll just do SNS on my actual nails and a nude color. Total botch job for an even more simple ask. Lumpy all over. People were coming in and leaving because no one would greet them or ask them how they could help. West End is under huge development and more and more residents are moving in. We need a new nail salon that has the proper staff and will be able to cater to the amount of people coming in. Great location - needs new ownership...
