I had high hopes for this place because my mom has been to this salon many times before, but for it to my first I didnât have the best experience and neither did she this time around. First and foremost I would like to give credit that the salon is clean, the workers overall had a decent attitude and the location is convenient for me. But for the price I expected a much better experience and quality of work. We went to the salon on my momâs birthday on the 16th. We asked if there was a wait because we had an appointment elsewhere in a few hours and we know how long nails can take but we were assured that there was not one. They took my mom immediately and then told me the gentleman who is doing my nails is coming. 30+ minutes pass and by this time I just told myself I will come back later that day to get my nails done (which I had no problem doing). The worker finally comes to me and tells me heâs ready and I explained Iâll come back but he asks me what time my appointment is and assured me I will be done in time so I take his word for it. To sum it up, I ended up being late to my appointment and my nails were too long after I expressed at least 3 times that I wanted them shorter and then was told it wouldnât look right if I got them too short. Which I have never heard of, I always get my nails done short and love them. Now for my momâs side, the first person who did her nails did a terrible job, her nails were crooked, the polish was lumpy. The nails were so bad that the gentleman at the front desk agreed to let her come back so that they could fix it. Once we came back they realized the first job was done so poorly, they had to take off the entire set and start over. We ended up spending another 2.5+ hours in there...on top of the 2 hours we spent earlier that morning..my mom spent a good chunk of her birthday in there when it shouldâve been done right the first time. A very draining experience to say the least. And to top it all off, one of my nails broke 7 days after I got them done..7 days! And only the tip broke off. As many times as I have gotten my nails done I have never had a nail pop off. Ever. I personally think itâs because the nails are too long but it could be because it wasnât properly done. Who knows? I just know that I will not be back personally. I spent a lot of money and time there that I...
Read more3rd time I've been here. I'm a regular now. I never expect them to recognize me with my mask on, but they still do. LoL Very welcoming feeling!! My tech is always very patient with my requests and keeps it neat. đ„°
I kind of didn't want to share this review, bc I don't want my new fave place to become overly crowded, but everyone is ALWAYS patient to wait for the next available tech, regardless of the time. I'm a lil selfish that way.. sorry y'all, here you go. âșïž
UPDATE:: Sept. 4. I've been coming here consistently now and I've appreciated MOST of the techs that assist me, but I'm seeing consistently poor performance from 1 TECH in particular (Phuc Dinh). He rushes thru the job and makes you feel as if what you're requesting for him to do is not his problem and you're asking for too much, with the sighing and seemingly poor attitude. As he's using the handheld tool on my cuticles, he didn't care to really clean them up. Even as I finished and after washing my hands, I'm thinking that hanging skin is going to fall off, but it doesn't. I even make sure by washing my hands twice! My cuticles look horrible compared to my previous work done. Then he acted as tho me asking him to paint my nails clean to the edges was a diligent task, when he's the only one that DOESN'T. He did a sloppy, rushed job and I'm kind of upset about it. I paid, mainly because I got the fill-in that I asked for, but the aesthetics are horrible. Next time, I'll wait as long as I need to for SOMEONE ELSE.
I WILL CONSISTENTLY UPDATE MY REVIEWS AS NECESSARY UNTIL I CAN COMFORTABLY BE SEATED WITH A NAIL TECH THAT I KNOW WILL DO A CONSISTENTLY GREAT JOB. IF YOU'RE TOO TIRED TO WORK, IT'LL DO YOU BETTER TO SIT IT OUT THAN TO HAVE YOUR BUSINESS AND YOUR WORK...
Read moreProbably one of the worst experiences I have ever had and Iâm a regular and consistent customer! I was already slightly frustrated with the nail tech for her being combative with me and refusing to soak my nails off as I explained to her that she canât just take them off with clippers because my nail bed is thin and sensitive, she does it any way. Not only that, I am jumping in agony as she is taking my nails off and she hits my hand numerous times to sit still. IT HURTS. Itâs not funny nor does it feel good. Everytime I ask for a color or design she says âshe doesnât know if they have itâ and suggest I get something else but she refuses to go look for me! At least 4 times I had to ask her to at least get up and look for me! Upon check out I pay my tab through cash app, being that I work in the F&B industry I normally keep cash on me so I always tip in cash but I didnât have any on me this time after checking my purse. The receptionist (young guy) says very loudly in front of guest if I was going to tip her, I told him I would bring by since I live 5 mins away, he gets louder âOH SO YOURE NOT GOING TO TIP HER??â I tried to explain that I didnât have cash but she and I had also exchanged numbers so that I could Apple Pay or cash app her the tip. Iâve never been a customer that doesnât tip on top of my service tab, I know this industry being that I work for tips as well. He harassed me throughout the entire ordeal and embarrassed over a tip in front of everyone as if I wasnât going to tip her. Extremely embarrassing and I donât think I ever want to visit this salon or show my face in this salon ever again as Iâve been a loyal consistent client for...
