10/10 stars for everything! My husband is actually the one who kept trying to get me to go here. I was previously going to a salon somewhere else and slowly started to become unhappy with their services so my husband kept telling me come to Morningside Nail Bar. So here’s a review of my first and only experience: my husband and I decided to go on the Thursday before Memorial Day weekend in Atlanta. They closed at 7pm but said it was okay for us to come at 6:30. I was shocked because we both wanted manis and pedis. As soon as we came in we were acknowledged and asked to wait because the salon was very busy. That was my second good sign! A busy nail salon is a great nail salon. Within 10 minutes we were sat and Kaylee began giving my husband a Citrus Luxury Pedicure. It’s his favorite and they recommended it to me too! Then Tim came and began my pedicure too. Even though they were at the very end of their day and the place was full, both of them had great attitudes. They were patient and happy to give us service. That was my third good sign! Then they offered us some wine! Fourth good sign of course! The massage chairs felt great and our pedicures were amazing. I would show my husbands feet but he said no lol. His feet look amazing for a hard working man and I thank Kaylee for that. They had good conversation and engaged with us all night instead of just being in silence. That was another good sign. Finally they started our manicures. Kaylee did my husbands and worked well in a timely manner on her own. Tony came to do my manicure. My favorite thing about Tony was that he cared about what I wanted. We were well past closing time but he sat with me and helped me pick something I liked and even offered to do designs. We finished with something that I ultimately was satisfied with! We got extraordinary customer service, satisfying results for a reasonable price. I will be back again...
Read moreI’m so grateful to Hailey for recommending the Gel Builder and treatment during my first visit — it’s truly been a game-changer for my nails! She is incredibly precise and passionate about her craft, and you can tell she genuinely cares about the work she does.
I’m pretty simple when it comes to nails — I just want something natural — but the time and care Hailey puts into each set is admirable. I started my nail journey in April, originally just popping in for a quick set for Easter weekend. I didn’t know exactly what I wanted, and Hailey suggested Gel Builder to help strengthen my thin nails that usually break before they grow out. I’ve tried SNS and gel polish before, but they never lasted more than a week.
To my surprise, my Gel Builder set lasted a whole month! I returned in May, and now again in June for my third set — and both Hailey and I are amazed at how strong and long my nails have become. I never thought I was a “long nail girlie,” but thanks to Hailey’s care and precision, I’m all in and plan to keep coming back for as long as possible.
Shoutout to Tim as well — he does my pedicures and is always a joy to chat with. My toes come out perfect every time, and the shape is always clean and consistent. He pays great attention to detail, which makes every service feel luxurious.
I’ve included photos from April, May, and June to show my nail growth journey — the difference is incredible! What started as a one time visit has turned into a routine I genuinely look forward to. From the moment I walk in to the moment I leave, it's an amazing experience every single time. Highly...
Read moreI went to get an acrylic removal and pink and white full set. My nails turned out really good, but this place isn’t transparent about their pricing. I was expecting to spend around $70.
I told the beautician who did my nails that I wanted pink and white. She asked if I wanted ombré or french and told me it would be the same price regardless of what I got, so I opted for the french tip.
Turns out, my total was $88. I paid but I later asked someone who seemed like the manager to explain the pricing to me. He said the full set was $55, removal was $8, and the french tip was $20. I didn’t understand why I was being charged for a french tip if the beautician said the price was the same for the full set ($55), regardless of it were ombré or not. Then, she comes over and adds in that the cut down and shape for a full set is an additional $8. Never in my life have I paid additional for someone cut the acrylics they glue onto your nails for a full set. It’s usually included and the manager didn’t say this originally, so it seemed like she just added something to make the $88 total make sense, which it didn’t. Then, I tell her that her prices and the prices on the website aren’t matching. She tells me the website isn’t updated.
This place is good but definitely check pricing before you sit down. I...
