I enjoyed them for a short time, and loved the instructors. The environment is fun, all if the eployees know you by name and help you feel welcome. The instructors genuinely care about you and had great workout routines for the less active (like myself haha) and for when you're ready to challenge yourself. I actually grew to look forward to the days I went.
However I was thrown off by having to pay for a water bottle when I needed a refill. Due to Covid (I'm guessing here) the water fountains are closed so I couldn't refill my water. A few times I asked for a bottle, which I thought would be free to members but I was charged. Unfortunately I cancelled my membership after a few short months of trying to make it work with a full-time job and not being able to meet their policy of canceling within 8 hours of your next class. I have a child and work so that's just not feasible. After cancelling my membership and still needing to pay for and use up an entire month of classes, I was treated pretty poorly by one of the front-desk workers. The next time I came in, I was 6 minutes into the class time (the instructor had only just started talking. Usually she gets started with the warmup 5 minutes after) because I was coming in on my lunch break and he refused to let me go into the class because of the 5 minute policy. Now, it wasn't first time that had happened but the 2nd (maybe 3rd). And the first time I did apologize and explain that my job doesn't let me leave on time for break every day, but I appreciate the workouts. Maybe that's just his natural disposition but I only noticed it after I cancelled and now don't feel comfortable going back for the rest of my classes. I have seen others be let in to classes well into 10 minutes, and the other front desk worker was very apologetic to me for him not letting me in.
Overall it was a great place to workout and if I was a student with little responsibilities I would...

Read moreAbsolutely addicting. By the end of the workout I want to die, then, a few hours later, I'm ready to go back for more. Coaches are high energy and help keep the intensity up in the gym. Working out with a room full of other motivated people has been beneficial for me, and their sign-up policy helps keep me accountable, especially on those mornings I find it difficult to roll out of bed. Orange Theory is something I look forward to doing almost daily now, not only because of the great atmosphere and people, but because I know it is effective and perfect for my schedule and my fitness needs. I would totally recommend anyone and everyone to give it a try. The only complaint I have is the cost of the heart monitor. Orange Theory membership isn't cheap, and with the cost of the wrist strap/heart monitor added on, I really had my doubts about joining. I had a hard time justifying spending so much on fitness my first month. But because my insurance will cover my gym membership up to 3 months, I decided to bite the bullet. That being said, I'm glad I did (I'm getting every penny's worth too...I have been 9/12 days since becoming a member). My first few workouts they let me borrow a heart monitor, which was very kind of them. The staff at Orange Theory Auburn are incredibly friendly and will work with you to make sure you have what you need. Love the peeps and love the workouts. I'm sure you will too....
