I visited this restaurant recently and the service was awful. Ask the waiter for a recommendation for a drink all she said was get a tower that was $99.99. I ordered a blue drink as that’s what I’m used to getting when I go to a Mexican cuisine, my friend ordered their drink and food and I asked the waiter to give me a few minutes to look more into the menu. When I got my drink my drink was disgusting (at that time my friend received their food and drink as well) so I asked if I could exchange it for something else the waiter got someone else and they said no. My waiter left and never came back. I had to flag someone down just to place a food order. I ordered chicken tenders and fries due to the fact I was already there for 40 mins and no one placed my food order. Once we got our bill it not only did I have to pay for the drink that I only took two sips out of but pay an extra $2 for “extra” my waiter never came back so I had to flag someone else down to see what the “extra” was for. He proceeded to say it’s for a large kids tender meal. I never said large I just said tender meal with ranch please. Large remotely came out of my mouth. On top of getting charged extra for the tender meal they still proceeded to cut the tenders in half as if it was meant for a kid. Lastly I was charged $1.50 for each for my tenders. Read moreWent with some friends to get drinks, realized we weren’t feeling it that day so we wanted to leave, we ordered a side of guacamole that was $1.50 on the menu along with queso because they have a policy that you must spend $5 to use your card. After receiving the bill the guacamole and queso that we thought were $1.50 came to almost $5 each. We explained to the server that we asked for the guacamole and queso that was $1.50 (as when we ordered we pointed exactly to it on the menu when ordering it). She says that’s not what we ordered and we got smalls and we told her we did not ask for smalls (which not to blame her but her English is not the best). We asked for a manager 3 times to come to the table and no one ever came back not even the server. I eventually get up to find a manager as we had been waiting 15 mins for someone to come by. When I find her she was extremely rude, blamed us, and told us “that was our problem” because we didn’t know the difference between their small and $1.50 portions when the server gave us the wrong size. After going back and forth for awhile she snatched the receipt off the counter and she only took $3 off of the bill instead of owning and fixing their mistake. Read moreI have been a loyal customer of this place for years, often visiting weekly. However, I've recently noticed a decline in service quality, which is disappointing. It seems like there might be a lot of new hires, but the last three times I've visited, I've encountered servers with poor attitudes. My order has been incorrect each time, despite repeating it multiple times, and I have been charged twice for the food I ordered.
I've also had unpleasant interactions with the managers. When my food came out wrong, I was told I needed to be more specific with my order, even though I always am. It's frustrating to have to repeat my order multiple times and still not have it right. Having worked in the service industry, I understand the challenges, but the customer should be treated with respect.
The last time I visited, the server didn't even greet me with a "Hello" – she just asked, "What do you want?" That's not how customers should be treated. I don't want to cause problems, but I do expect respect, quality food, and good service, especially from a place I frequent so often.
I hope the establishment can improve its services soon, as it truly is a shame to see...
