Not sure why my other review was deleted. But that really goes to show how shady this place is! Went to take my phone here about a month ago to have repaired and told him I was having an issue with my card, to wait on repairs. As I'm calling the bank and trying to get it straight. He takes it upon himself to go ahead and change my screen. I could not pay because unfortunately the issue was internal( server related) and was unable to be resolved. So he kept my phone and said he would hold it two weeks. I called a week later to be told that I had to pay for labor. Excuse me? I didn't sign any paperwork and you did the repair when I asked you not to. First my sister called up there and he told her he would keep the phone, then he TRIED to tell me the same thing and I'd have to pay for labor. I told him that I was coming to get my phone, when I get there he has to go down the street somewhere to retrieve my device( odd that my device was off premises) and he again tried to charge me for labor. So not only did they want to charge me for labor they took upon themselves to do, but they quite literally had every intention of trying to steal my device. I really wanted it to work out too because when initially speaking to him on the phone for a quote he seemed very honest. Maybe this one won't get deleted, but I'll save it in my notes...
Read moreDo not go here!!!!!!!! I brought my iPhone 15 here for a screen repair on March 28th. While the repair was quick and the technician was polite, my screen went completely black just 20 minutes after I left. I walked back in, and they fixed it again for free but it obviously should’ve been done right the first time. Less than a month later, my phone went black again. When I returned, the technician told me, word-for-word, “That’s because our phone screens are low quality.” Another customer in the store was having the exact same issue, which told me this isn’t an isolated case. As a college student without access to an Apple Store in Auburn, I felt stuck and opted for another screen replacement there. only for that one to completely fail on June 13th. Once I was home and able to go to the Apple Store, I was told the previous repair was poorly done: the screen was lifting, dust had gotten inside, and it clearly wasn’t a professional job. I’ve now spent over $500 and countless hours trying to fix something that this place made worse. I emailed the business asking for a refund and received no response. Bottom line: poor quality screens, poor workmanship, and even poorer accountability. I strongly recommend going anywhere else...
Read moreDO NOT TRUST THEM FOR BATTERY REPLACEMENTS ON IPHONES.
About a month ago, I got a battery replacement from them on my iphone, and the new one they put in was running out of battery even more than the old one--about 1% per minute--dying at 24%. So, I ran a battery testing app on it, and the replacement they installed performed WORSE than the original battery that was being replaced (the original was over 2 years old!)
So I brought it back to tell the owner, and he had the nerve to put a second garbage battery in my phone. Luckily, I looked at the battery as he was putting it in, and I saw that this "NEW" battery had the serial number literally covered up, with a black marker. I asked him why it was like that, and he stuttered and basically said nothing.
I got my money back and ordered a do-it-yourself kit from amazon, and what do ya know, the battery works great and performs really well on my testing app. These guys are scam artists and they get away with it because most people would never think to act that way.
Be very careful here, or go...
