My husband and I made a special trip up to Auburn to check this place out. We were really excited since we tried it since we tried their cider from a local restaurant. When we arrived they was someone in front of us so we waited for them to finish ordering. They took a while, but we had time. When we went to order the man inline behind us, told the bar tender he wanted a bottle of wine basically cutting us off inline. And the bartender serviced him. She was talking to us the whole thing but I felt so uncomfortable and unimportant. even though it was our first time we knew our order and were to ready. But the bar tender didn't ask just talk about the brewery and decided to service to the man who was came in a few minutes after us. Even though the ciders were good, in the future we are going to take our business to place that appreciate us and make us feel vauled.

So excited for Ponderosa Cider company to officially open. We’ve followed the small business owners journey on IG and we’re excite to visit their Tap Room in South Auburn. The space is perfect to enjoy some crisp and carefully curated flavors. We stated with flights to explore their menu, would definitely recommend! Big fan of all on the menu, Southern Aspect, Pineapple Crush, The Duchess, Sangria. Happy to see they had a non-alcoholic option on the menu and snacks available. We were there in opening weekend, it was raining but stayed for hours because our two kids were entertained and playing in the outside courtyard with the other kiddos. Family and dog friendly for sure, and a great neighborhood tap house vibe! We took home a bunch of 4-packs and will be looking for their cider at our local restaurants and bars. Ponderosa Cider, see you soon.

It was so good I only took 2 pictures! I considered 2 Rivers in South Sac the best cider house in the area, they are the OG but there's a new kid in town, Ponderosa! I am going to be selfish and say I want to keep the gem hidden but they are a "must try" for cider lovers. We ordered all 3 flights, Dry, The Staples, and Fruity. I suggest try them in this order from 1 to 4, AMAZING! Give them a try, you won't be disappointed, CHEERS 🍻 I added 3 more pictures today after visiting a second straight week, who knows, I might ever go a third straight week it is that good 🍻

My husband and I stopped by to try out the drinks at this beautiful new establishment. We sampled the hard ciders and the lavender lemonade. Their products are both delicious and healthy. I got a grand tour of their brewery as well. Fastidiously clean with state of the art brewing distillery equipment and on site fresh oranges and apples shipped in locally. Beautiful outside eating area under big shade trees! I was very impressed that these ciders replicate dry wines, that are not too sweet. I purchased 2 four packs of Sanrgia de Sidr and can’t wait to...
