While I like this park and have never had a bad experience there... Yesterday has changed my views. Yesterday, I brought my 20lb dog to the park. Not our first time going there. As we walked into the fenced off area, a massive pit bull/bull dog (I'm assuming) mix comes charging at my dog. This dog had to of been 80lbs. Before I knew it, the dog instantly clamped on to my dogs neck and my dog started screaming in pain. While I was trying to get my dog free from his bite, the attacking dog ended up scratching my neck and biting my finger. The owners of this dog seemed sympathetic, but expressed to me that their dog loves people but doesn't do well around other dogs. I can't even fathom why this idiot dog owner would bring their dog that doesn't get along with other dogs, to a DOG PARK. But he did. My dog has bite marks on his neck and I have to go to work and face customers with nasty claw marks on my neck too. I wish I would gave gotten the owners info but in my frustration and panicking mode, I just wanted to get as far away as possible. Please be cautious about this possibly happening to your animal. This dog was I'm assuming a pit/bull dog mix. Very stocky and had a shiny grey coat. The owners were a younger couple. Probably late 20's early 30's and had 2 younger children with them. Unfortunately that's all the info I have on them. Be aware. My dog was...

Read more"This is a dog park as well!" The lady with two unleashed pit bulls argued when I told her to take a control of her dogs. She kept saying that her dogs don't bite, but those pit bulls kept coming back to bark and growl at us as we tried get in our car in parking lot from the restrooms. I used to have three hunting dogs, and I am not usually afraid of dogs. However her pit bulls are the ones that should never be unleashed. The lady could not take a control with them, and they came back at us 4-5 times threatening my 3 year old daughter and my 70 year old mother with a walking cane. Until today, my daughter really enjoyed playing at the play ground here. Now I learned why some people in my neighborhood say that they stick with the parks on the hill. I still like this park, and I am seriously considering to bring a gun when I go to this place. According to other reviews, it seems like the lady and her pit bulls visit...
