We've been looking for a new "home" gyro place as a few that we have frequented over the years have waned in quality, and are further from home than we would care. We were out running errands and found one within our own city. This services our desire to support local businesses within our own town, so we decided to give it a try. We were pleased to find an "excellent" rating on the window as we arrived. We met the manager Abdul, and got to know him for a minute as he prepared our order. Very personable gentleman with a passion for hard work and simpler, more traditional values that translate into true customer service. We asked how long he had been in business at this location, and we were surprised to hear that it had only been just 6 months. We talked about the challenges of opening/sustaining a business during the shutdown as I am also a small business owner in Auburn, Wa. He completed our order and as we took it home to eat, my wife and I discussed our experience with him. When we got home to eat, we had a wonderful meal with a wonderful experience attached. All of the ingredients were fresh, keeping true with his statement that he stocks ingredients daily very early in the morning. The meal was delicious and filling. This will be our new "Go To" Gyro place. We had driven by this place so many times, and we haven't found a good shawarma place in Auburn, so we decided to hit it up. We really love Mediterranean food, We do eat it relatively often.

We went into this place, and received a tepid welcome. The seemingly older of the two men was off-putting and kind of rude. When I ordered for my partner and I, I misspoke and the dude was actually kind of combative about it. It was weird, and it felt hostile.

I ordered a gyro, arabic shawarma for my partner, an order of falafel and Greek fries. The gyro was pretty standard and had good flavour. The falafel was a nice texture, fresh, but very bland. Seemed like it was missing a bit of something. My partners food was great. We also shared the Greek fries. It's fries with feta and sauce. The fries were cooked great, and held up to its sog-inducing accoutrements. The cheese was cheese. The sauce was pretty bland too.
