My husband and I spent 3 nights here while visiting family in the area. The hotel is well situated next to major highways, and yet very quiet and next to a nice green belt with a pond. There was plenty of free parking. Several restaurants are within walking distance, and a variety of other eateries are close by. Front desk staff were friendly and helpful, and the lobby is spacious and attractive, as are the hotel grounds. Our 2nd floor King Bed Standard Room was spacious, clean, and attractively decorated. The bathroom was also good sized with plenty of shelf and counter space. There was a coffee maker, small fridge, microwave, desk, comfortable chair and nice size closet in the room. The AC worked well, but the wifi was slow. The bed was comfortable with extra pillows, and other than some noise in the hall when some guests were moving about, it was mostly a quiet stay. The free breakfast buffet had cold and hot options, oatmeal and cereals, breads, fresh fruit, sausage and gravy, eggs, potatoes, yogurts and a waffle maker. They only had 2% milk, while I was hoping for a milk substitute. The breakfast room was plenty big with enough tables and chairs for all guests. Coffee and tea were available all day in the lobby. We didn't use the indoor pool but saw other folks using it. Overall, it was a good stay, and we would return if again in the...
Read moreOk so the pool area was really cool especially for smaller kids 5 and under. It had a small slide and water buckets and prayers. It had a separate kiddie pool and gate and a hot tub. 5 star pool! I got the family suite with bunk beds and that was a great deal for the price and it was nice to be able to spread out a bit from the kids. Very clean comfortable room and bed. Bunk beds and pullout were all pretty comfy. I've been to ALOT of hotels and Hamptons are my favorite budget friendly place. Honestly the staff here didn't seem rude in any way bit didnt really seem to go out of their way to be friendly like they do at most Hamptons no biggie though. They had Chili and nachos out the first nigjt we stayed which I thought was cool never saw that at a Hampton b4. The 2nd night they didn't have cookies though which my kids were disappointed because Hamptons pretty much always have those. One of the things we love about Hamptons are their breakfast. This breakfast wasnt bad by other hotel standards but honeatly was the worst one I've ever had at a Hampton. My husband went down b4 work in the morning just after 6 when it was supposed to start and said they only had one tray of scrambped eggs and some cake donuts out. I went later with the kids and they did have more than that but not as much and not as good as any other Hampton...
Read moreOverall it was a mixed experience. When we first got there we asked the front office for an extra bed and they gave us an air mattress for the rest of our stay. We were told the tv had Netflix and Disney+ but when we looked it said we had to log in which me they HAD those platforms but no account. Breakfast opens at 6 AM and closes at 10 AM which was really nice and great for people who want to sleep in. At the breakfast place, they have a lot. They have waffles, toast, bagels, cereal, yogurt, and fruit. In the lobby they have a 24/7 coffee and tea bar that also includes hot cocoa. They also have a mini shop that sells some clothes but mostly food. The prices of the food weren’t too bad. A cup of ramen, for example, was $2.00. The pool opens at 10AM and closes at 10PM. When we first walked in at 4PM the filters weren’t turned on, we originally thought the kids pool was broken because none of the water features were on. We even told the front office but they said the filters were on (even though they weren’t)After we came back at around 6PM, the water features weren’t turned on and the pool filter was working which was nice. Check in is at 4PM and check out is at 11. Overall, the experience had its...
