Arts On Fire Fox Valley — Attraction in Aurora

Came in on Friday 10/3 in the afternoon and was not greeted, did not know who to speak to as there a few other groups of girls huddled in a group and there’s no specific uniform to use context clues on who is wrkn. Decided to read the board and decided I would pick my piece to paint and then hopefully the worker would establish themselves. She did not and instead I realized it was her after finally all the groups sat down and she went straight to doing something else. I told her it was our first time and she told us to begin picking our paints at the table so we did. I picked a few colors but one that I wanted I guess they were out of. To explain this she was so unclear and rude about and even had attitude bc I could not understand her. She essentially misspoke but did not understand that she did by saying we are out of 275 so i brought you 275. The second time she corrected herself but because I was so confused because she threw a bunch of numbers all in one sentence and did not point to any colors when speaking she expected me and my fiancé to understand right away. I looked at my fiancé and we both looked at her and said “what” as again she was speaking to us like we should have memorized the colors all at once. She looked at me laughed and said “ugh girl ok..” and then finally broke it down in a way we understood her but was very rude about it. I knew in that moment that we were leaving but was so upset because she had no knowledge of her mistakes or did she make it a good interaction in which she could have just understood she was speaking to quickly and even more so rudely. Her energy was so high school mean girl and usually my fiancé tells me if I’m over exaggerating but in this moment he also saw how she tried to make me think I was being an idiot for not...

This place is amazing! Went there with my boyfriend and instantly fell in love with the place! A lot of good pieces to paint, the price for the glaze and the brushes is amazing! $6 for children and $8 for adults I think (you pay for what you’re going to glaze). The workers are super nice and gave us a lot of useful tricks and tips so our finished project can turn out amazing! I love being creative, so this place was the best fit for me! Anytime I needed more glaze for my plate that I was doing, the worker happily gave me more. I was never rushed to finish my plate, they always asked me if I needed help with it or if I needed anymore supplies. Once I finished I was told my plate would be ready in a couple of days, because it needed to be put in a place so the glaze can do its magic. I was shocked at how beautiful my plate came out! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place! The atmosphere is great, and the workers are out of this world! 10/10 I’m coming...

Loved going here the past 3-4 times we had been there but a few days short of a month ago we went in and had terrible service , no one attended us unless to bring us paint and check out and even then I had to be the one to go to them. Once checking out she explains they only had one type of paint that day (she again did not explain this in the beginning) so I had to wait 2 weeks for pick up, and I would receive a call when ready. Well it’s now a few days short to a month from when I went and again I had to be the one to call and say hey what’s going on! Well they’ve been ready just never received a call.
