Havana Heights Park — Attraction in Aurora

This park is a 2 minute walk from my house. It offers a small playground with 2 swings. The website for this park states that it offers a half sized basketball court and tennis courts.

The basketball court is cracked and doesn’t even have a basketball hoop. The tennis courts have 3 doors that are all locked 24/7. They’re locked with padlocks that need keys. I don’t know who has access to get in. For the past 8 years of living here, I’ve never seen anyone play tennis in the courts, nor has there ever been a basketball hoop.

We found this park on Saturday for a last minute event. It had a BBQ grill that we used, picnic tables (2), and a tennis court. The playground (brand-new) was amazing the kids absolutely loved it, also some kind of obstacle climbing equipment. I believe this park belongs to the housing community but of course open to the public except for the clubhouse.

Plenty of trees for shade around the perimeter, extra benches for sitting & a Port-A-Potty which I heard was very clean inside.

A Small neighborhood park with tables, benches, tennis courts and NEW playground equipment! They have upgraded the playground and added an accessible playground area. I have added new photos of the equipment though it is a little hard to see. Still only a porta potty. The park is usually clean, the parking lot not so much. They did NOT upgrade the picnic tables so it is still the two concrete tables with concrete benches on...
