I had been a regular customer at this place.i love her food and always enjoyed her service and warm welcome. I take all my friends and family to this cafe. As time passes I got hooked on her coffee and her welcome warm smile. Then one moment I haven't her place almost for a month. When I showed up at the cafe she ask if I been ok? And I told her the bad news about my health that I am fighting cancer. She felt so bad and started making me my regular coffee and meal after I had finished my breakfast I went to pay for my breakfast she refused to take my money and told me to focus on my health and told me if I ever need anything that she will be there for me. Anything I feel like to eat just to let her know and not to worry about paying and instructed her employees not to take any money and to give me whatever I need no charge . I insisted to pay, but she was very determined and told me the least she can do feed me until I recover and show me her compassion and humanity 💗 love I truly love you God bless you...
Read moreEverything we ate was AMAZING!! We got the #1-Foul; #4-Cechebesa and #8-breakfast combo. We did 1/2 and 1/2 for the #4 and had the kinche with the bulgar wheat. We got the medium spice and can definitely do the hottest. It was all perfectly seasoned and light. Our server was kind and very helpful and made our first experience trying Ethiopian food extremely positive! I’ve never experienced Ethiopian flavors and was very pleased! Thank you for such a great experience. Also, it was quite busy. I think this place is going to grow and may have to get a bigger place for more people. Oh yeah, I also had the ginger tea which is made with fresh ginger. I highly recommend it. Also, the coffee is made fresh for each cup and was pretty good too. We’ll be recommending this place to friends and family. Thank...
Read moreA cafe beloved by locals and an unexpected find of Ethiopian food in the area. I didn't expect it to be a full-service café, but the staff are friendly and prompt. They helped explain the menu and made recommendations.
The Breakfast Combo served up a delicious variety with generous portions. The kinche with honey is an unexpected combination and the firfir was perfectly spiced, but the wheat bread was the biggest surprise. I believe it was baked in house: hot, super soft, and fragrant.
Their coffee menu is small but boasts single origin Ethiopian beans. The macchiato was phenomenal! To accompany the coffee they have a small selection of cakes and pastries. The Black Forest cake is textbook, balancing chocolate and cherry liqueur. Would love to try their pound...
